[APP] Interview with the candidate Brigidd

Day 2,751, 15:54 Published in Australia Chile by Australian Parliamentary Party

Dear eAustralians,

The presidential elections are coming up, and we decided to do this interview to learn more about our nominated candidate, Brigidd.

1- Good morning, can you tell us in short something about you and what you did in eRepublik?

I am a real life South African living and working in Kwa Zulu Natal South africa. Active mostly in the evenings during the week.

I started my elife in March 2009 and spent the first six or 7 months as a normal citizen doing the basics. Before becoming involved in a pto of a nation. The experience of which has given me an intense dislike of ptos and what they do to nations.

After this went back to the normal life of just working and fighting before New Zealand was brought onto the map. I joined the community before the official start and become heavily involved in building the nation. Being an active player I was pulled into the political side starting with Minister of eduction then dMoFA and after a few months taking over as MoFA most of the time. Except for months as vCP, and 4 or 5 times as CP,

I spent the most part of the 4 and a half years there as one of the decision makers of the course taken by the nation.

2- You are a CP candidate for the month of June, what pushed you to run?

I was going to take a break for a bit, before the turkish airstrike happened. But with this attack I saw that Aus needed active, experienced players, as this sort of thing can happen anytime. Even if I lose I will get involved if asked.

3- In your article you talked about your past eLife in New Zealand and in your desire to detach yourself from the strong involvement in the management of the country. Being CP is a big commitment, do you think this will push you in the future to move again to other nations?

CP is a big commitment, and I know its going to be a lot different from my previous experience with it, New Zealand had quite a different government style. To be honest I don't know, I have become quite settled here and enjoy the nation and its people, so only time will tell. I came here originally for 3 months but it feels like home so it will be hard to leave.

4- An evergreen topic in every small community of the game involves the babyboom. What do you think about that? Do you think there are quick ways to find new citizens?

I don't there is a quick and easy way to create a babyboom. Word of mouth and using social media have had the best results elsewhere. But the admins don't make it easy for nations especially small ones to keep their young citizens.

5- Another hot topic in the community is the use of forums and the involvement of the Senators, that after the implementation of self-dictatorship, have lost functionality in the game. You will use the forum to keep informed the Senate and possibly ask their advice on matters that, in the absence of dictatorship, was their in-game competence?

Quite honestly its something I'd have to make an effort at, getting senators opinions is not what I've had to do before. With the number of senators and the limited numbers for mass messaging the forum

6- I conclude by looking for some information in preview. You can anticipate some collaborators name that will be part of your government, if you're elected?

At the moment I have a few people in deputy minister positions. So still looking for full ministers if anyone would like to apply my door is open. Also Vasco and Xenthus will be in an advisory roll.

Thank you Brigidd, and good luck!

That's all guys.
