Yesterday the nation gave a fantastic effort that fell a little short of victory. I'm not going to sugar coat it. We missed the opportunity to completely destroy the PTO faction in our midst by less than 3 dozen bodies.
We moved a massive amount of real live bodies in an attempt to block the AFA, but in the end we couldn't overcome a suspiciously convenient surge in new players joining the PTO.
Custer our SecMed, Melissa Rose , and myself all closely monitored yesterday's events. Custer worked tirelessly to update the WHPR and shout it.
In all seriousness we would like to thank everyone for the extraordinary efforts they put in yesterday. Josh Frost, Wild Owl, Melissa Rose, Talostastic, Custer, Hale........ The list is a long one. We banded together and came agonizingly close to victory. The cycle continues, but we're more United than ever, and that should terrify the domestic terrorists in our midst.

A Nation in the Spotlight! - Albania

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to our new segment here in the WHPR: A Nation in the Spotlight! Every edition or so, I’ll spotlight a nation around the world and do a feature piece on them, and their recent events. This week:
ALBANIA!
Albania is a nation currently in Europe with a base of regions set up in India that they won of an airstrike war. Albania is a long time ally of the United States and a former member of the EDEN alliance (still an in-game member). The nation currently focuses on a foreign policy that orients it more away from alliances and more towards just MPPing friends, like the United States, China, and Croatia (a neighbor of theirs in India).
Albania is currently at war with Montenegro back in Europe, while they continue to have congress elections due to their base in India, which for now, is safe, after they fought off several airstrike attempts from Belarus. Albania, right now, has their base regions in Europe, while fighting against Montenegro to keep them, and take theirs. Serbia is also a long time enemy of Albania, a trait they share with the United States.
Albania, according to one citizen, currently has an active internal population of about 300. The internal affairs of the nation is stretched due to their constant wars with Serbia, Montenegro, and other European nations, as much of Europe often faces. Albanian President Fessti is in his first term, elected with 45% of the vote, has been doing a fairly good job, according to those we asked, with leading the nation.

Following the supreme defeat of Hungary, an excellent showing of American-Mexican-Russian and CoT cooperation, The Executive has wasted no time in moving onto their next target; Serbia.
Earlier this weekend Mexico launched a bold NE proposal against Serbia. To put you in Mexico's mindset, they just NEd the most powerful nation in the eWorld. Their support in this venture is a timezone advantage that can be screwed up, unpredictable RWs and the 3rd strongest nation in the world. Yet, they NEd Serbia anyways and won.
We thank Mexico greatly for their support and for the thrilling battle in Texas. We also must thank Croatia for their efforts against Serbia as well, helping us win our battles both via MPP and mobile fighters. The Croatians have sponsored many a RW, managing to free two territories of theirs, as well. We've also received help by them to free two of our lands.
At current we are preparing for a restarted blitz once a few allied RWs "unlock".
eNPR Oval Office Radio
New Schedule; New Format
While eNPR returns to a twice-weekly schedule, listeners will treated to what amounts to two very different shows.
On Tuesday nights, Cerb will host, bringing a slick professional format and discussing the hard news, politics, and domestic and international affairs.
Cerb's co-Hosts and guests will include President Oblige, Cabinet members, and Custer will usually tag along as side man.
On Friday nights, Custer will bring the Press Corps Staff-- led by Melissa Rose and Tyler Buublar and Irule777-- to the airwaves to discuss the important and interesting media of the week. Guests will include the writers of articles being spotlighted. Think of this less structured format as a sort of Recommended Reading on the radio.
As always, both shows will integrate IRC room #eNPR. Listeners may drop comments which might be read on the air, and will be invited to call in to the Live show.
Both eNPR shows will air at 18oo hours (9 US Eastern; 6 West Coast), run for one hour of Live time, then slip into an "after party" which is included in the On Demand show. Anyone who calls in the last few minutes of the Live show will be included in the aftershow.

"I deeply apologize to the American people for your government's failure to end the PTO before Congressional elections. I take 100% of the responsibility for not expecting the massive numbers the AFA had in hiding and not doing enough to anticipate and coordinate 11th hour efforts efforts to vanquish Ajay and the Serbians.
We have accomplished much on the battlefield this month with the expulsion of Hungary and much on the domestic front with the new NSC, but until the PTO it totally, and utterly defeated we cannot be sleep soundly at night.
I promise you will see a doubled effort from the government going forward and that we will meet them on the battlefield again tomorrow and every day going forward."
