Tere, eEesti kodanik!

Taas on lähenemas Riigikogu valimised ning on ülimalt tähtis, et Sinu hääl jõuaks õige kandidaadini. Sinu ja teiste eEesti kodanike valitud riigikogulased peavad kuu aega tegelema eEestit ja selle kodanikke puudutavate poliitiliste küsimustega, seega tuleb kindel olla, et Riigikogusse valitakse ausad, aktiivsed ja kodanikele meelepärased kandidaadid.

Olles oma erakonnale lojaalne, ütlen kohe ära, et kavatsen kinni pidada ELE põhikirjast.

Rõhutaksin siinkohal ära mõned mõtted, mis mulle veidi hingelähedasemad ning mida pean väga oluliseks, rääkimata sellest, et ma ei vea neid alt:

*Mõõdukad maksud - Tulu- ning käibemaksud tuleb hoida madalal, see aitab meie majandusel püsida stabiilsena, samas tuleb ka importmaksude seadmisel jälgida, et need liiga madalaks ei lange või kõrgeks tõuse.
*Riigi raha kasutamine peab olema täielikult läbipaistev ja riigikogu kontrolli all - Kodanikud ise valivad oma parlamendi liikmed, seega leian, et neil on ka õigus olla Riigikogu ja valitsuse tegevustest täielikult teadlikud.
*Rahakurss stabiilne - On ilmselge, et see teeb kodanike elu lihtsamaks. Riik peab igal võimalusel pakkuma mõistlikke valuutakursse, kuid samas ei tohi takistada kodanikevahelisi rahapakkumisi.
*Hoiame välissuhted stabiilsena - Mina kui eKanada suursaadik tean, et see on väga oluline, isegi kui oleme mõne sõjalise liidu liige. Kui me välissuhteid stabiilsena ei hoiaks, siis võime raskes olukorras kaotada oma maa nagu Kanada mõni aeg tagasi ning nende regioonide tagasivõitmine oleks teadagi keeruline.

Hello, eEstonian citizen!

We're approaching congress elections once again and it is essential that your vote reaches the right candidate. The congressmen elected by you and other eEstonian citizens have to deal with political matters concerning eEstonia and its citizens for a month, thus we need to be sure that honest, active and liked candidates are elected.

As I am loyal to my party, I hereby announce that I have every intention of following the ELE platform.
(Sadly, there is no English version of the platform yet; Estonian version can be found here)
I'd also point out some ideas that mean the most to me and which I consider extremely important, let alone that I AM going to follow them:

*Reasonable taxes - Income taxes and VAT should be kept low as it helps our economy stay stable, however when modifying import taxes we should also preserve that they don't climb too high or fall too low.
*Use of the country's funds must be fully transparent and under congress control - The citizens choose their own congress and thus I find that they have the right to be fully aware of what is really going on in the congress and in the government.
*Stable EEK currency - It's obvious that this makes the citizens' life much easier. The state must always provide reasonable exchange offers (between EEK and gold), however shouldn't interrupt exchange offers between citizens.
*Stable foreign relations - I, as the ambassador in eCanada, know that this is very important even if we're in an alliance. If we did not keep foreign relations stable, then we could lose our land in difficult situations, like Canada did a while ago, and winning back these regions would, of course, be hard.
