Well then……. it appears V2 has caused all sorts of problems and arguments, most of which being lost gold, lost stock and maximum confusion.
Unless you are willing to tackle an unknown society of politics, taxes, alliances, market prices and general wellbeing (and happiness) you will find this version very difficult to understand.
I personally along with 90+ % of eRepublikans have lost more than they bargained for in this so called ‘free game’, as we had a stable global currency and idea of what’s what to be able to manage our finances and companies to be profitable (or not) but still knowing where we stood.
This ‘GAME’ is for the general public to play and enjoy themselves on a global scale interactively together, not against each other in a personal way which it seems the admins have created by completely reinventing the format and scaring everyone into hate mode.
Just sit back and do the menial tasks at hand for a week or so and hopefully by then we all might have half an idea of what is really what.

WE HAVE A HUGE PRODUCTIVITY PROBLEM WITH V2!
I discovered recently how expensive houses are in v2. And since houses are a key component in maintaining health, happiness and therefore productivity, we are in serious trouble.
I came into v2 with a q4 house and work for a q3 company. I purchased my home as a permanent aid to my health and now it has a life-time of only 53 days. The home cost me $555. Today that home costs over $700. It was a major investment at the time and today, wages being what they are, I won't make $700 in 53 days even if I were to stop buying food.
Clearly something needs to be done either with the economy to boost wages or with some type of government aid.
food and weapon too expensive, all operations needed money. but graphics are good.

First day workers abuse salary limit, second day the best workers work for a pittance. That's shit. No doubt harvester was the best option. Why isn't there parts of harvesting too? Like lumberjack, miner, farmer... they should've thought as much...

It'll take a while for the prices to figure themselves out and stabilize. I have to reserve judgement until then, although I will say that it's nice that you can decide exactly how long and how hard you work every day.

my biggest problem is that I can't buy food. Old version I only bought 3 days worth at a time, now there is no food on the market, and I'm starving. who came up with the idea of sliders instead of stars, which were perfect?

houses, Defense systems, hospitals... they all would need more raw resources to build one and less productivity points needed to contruct it. they would finish them faster, they would be cheaper and raw companies would be able to sell and give salary to harvesters. They made terrible formulas.

To be honest, I think it'll work out okay in the end. I'm enjoying the extra options we get now. I find the sliders for buying food too fiddly and I seem to be haemorraging happiness faster than I can regain it, so I've just blown the last of my gold on it.
The only real quibbles I've got are I don't seem to be levelling up (currently at 158/150 XP for L16), I never got a treasure map for surpassing level 15, I don't like the way those women hit on me to try and get me to spend gold and the battlefield I tried in beta wasn't to my taste. I doubt it'll force me out of the game tho, I just might change my focus to become rich and happy rather than a war hero. All in all I think I'll enjoy it once I've got used to it and they've ironed out the kinks.

Houses are not giving wellness yet this isnt fixed so I am getting nothing from my (former Q5) house..but then its dura isn't going down either?
Happiness drain effectively amounts to as many hours as you train, work, study, so that can be up to -16 or -18 drain a day. I have run the calculator and even with a 'Q5 house' working 'Q3', training and studying, and decent food I will be down to less than 50 happy in 10 days..with the house not working it will be even less.. will they replace this? I think not...
v2 aint that good, and u always have problem to find right engineer or fitter ur looking for

I feel like I am always playing catch up either my welness is to low or my happieness is to low and the time I rectify that I have no money, for houses weapons or food. I feel like I am never going to get anywhere in this game!!!

people the happiness isnt tha hard to figure out. without food or house added in you can workout 12hours and balance out the loss from the other 12 hours you work. Assuming you eat you can actually go with a few less hours of working out, and once they get houses working you can get by with significantly less.
I would say that company managers are if'y about employing people without calculators.
I will tell you that I used to employ over 150 people in version 1, but I only employ about 20 now, because there is no way of crunching the numbers in a company calculator.
Like I said in another article, I think it is criminal, at least negligence, that the developers of the game think they can sell us companies, and make money from us. But the admins do not provide the support in the form of company calculators, so we can run those companies, because there is no money to be made with company calculators.
How on earth are we to stabilize the economy in one week without the tools to do it ?
I hope you understand now why there are less job offers, or low payed jobs on the market. A lot of people have left, no company calculators makes employers nervous, which applies to me.
Well my companies are going broke, I don't understand the battles.
I don't hate it - I just won't play it - there's plenty of other games around.

For company owners v2 is currently broken and that in turn effects everyone. Why erep decides to ignore bugs and stay silent about design flaws? One can only speculate.... On the other hand, why hate when all sensible company owners should just close?
Just buy 20 gold for 10 euros, and use it to pay for WPs and entertainment boosters.
I think that's the basic idea behind V2's economic model.
houses way too expensive to construct. if you need 1000 stone for Q1 house that is maybe 0.01*1000=10 gold for the Q1 house only for the raw material. That is way too much for a Q1 house. They are out of their minds. Everyone who has chosen carpenter, architect or builder is f* up.

the unstable MM has been a boom for me and sure i sell RM at a low price, but I sell the currency for great gold returns that make up for that.

I think it would be hilarious if all the companies closed up to prevent loosing money. I guess the admins would have to open businesses then to keep the game going. ALL HAIL THE NEW COMMUNIST OVERLORDS!!!

Let us be able to customize our products continuously!!! Not just one time! Especially when most of us don't even know what the right amount of points is because no one knows how to play this game very well right now!
v2 isnt tht bad o.o.....except the fact i cant change my damm picture >_<
The production is messed up. I had one employee contribute 600 production points in one day for a tank. The component he was assembling had 20 customization points and it only gave me one of the component but used up 600 of my raw materials. I thought a whole tank at level 1 would be 50 RM's but it is using 50 per component. This needs straightened out or every business owner that doesn't spend $30 a week on gold will be out of business or maybe that is what they have planned.
So far most of the issues have been rectified (WAAAAAAYYYY too low productivity for houses/food/tickets - to the point that we could all starve, tickets would cost starting at 1g and houses would be 3-4 times more expensive to make than in V1 - but now productivity formulas seem allright).
There's still the issue of raw materials - now any industry uses 1 raw unit per productivity point - this leads to raw consumptions in the range of thousands per day (thankfully now it is possible to use macros to donate raw) and more importantly - one raw company can supply only one manu/construction company (if workers skills are similar) instead of 3-4 as per normal. Waiting for the war module to be restarted, see what surprises that one has in store for us.

I am a harvester and I am earning an obscene amount of money everyday. No idea why or how.
i don't like the 'don't hate just wait'mentality, because if we just wait the admins wll never do anything.
instead we should unite and tell them what we want them to do, and hope they will listen.
it's at least better then not even trying.
