April - Week 3

The Army's 10th Mountain Division Sponsors Captain Rekeri!
Army's 10th Mountain Divisionhas pledged to supply one TC Officer every week with Q1 weapons in their new "Adopt-A-Trainer" program. This week's adopted TC Officer is Captain Rekeri.

Captain Rekeri is a source of leadership and inspiration for all of TC. He is the Commanding Officer of the 12th Company, 1st Division and also Quartermaster General for the entire Training Corps. Outside the TC Captain Rekeri is Global Operations Director for t'jelle Bank and ERX, Federalist Party FOP member and Business/Economic Advisor, the Co-Director for Meals on Wheels, Ambassador to eFrance AND Deputy Director of the eUS Job Hub. Certainly a highly active, highly motivated member of the community. We had the opportunity to interview Captain Rekeri, and ask him some questions regarding the work he does.

TC Tribune: Why did you choose to work for the TC?

CPT Rekeri: I started my military career in the TC and before being moved to the 3rd Division I was asked to become an executive officer in the 1st Division by timothybeasley. I've been here ever since and have no intentions of leaving.

TC Tribune: What are your goals?

CPT Rekeri: (Hopefully ) pwn some PvP fights in v2; make the TC even more awesome than it presently is; win my Congressional seat back; and bake a confetti cake while doing all of that.

TC Tribune: Any advice for new players?

CPT Rekeri: Be active - get on IRC, PM older players, read the forums, don't miss a day working or training, and have a voice. It's a game and it'll be as fun as you want to make it.

TC Tribune: Is there anything that you'd like to add?

CPT Rekeri: A huge thank you to the 10th Mountain Division of the Army for sponsoring me as the "Trainee of the Week" for this week - it's a huge honor and these kind of actions are why the eUS is so awesome.

Meet The Branches

TC is hosting branch Q&A/relations nights where TC troops can come and spend some time with officers, TC graduates and troops from other branches to learn about them and how they operate, and to show off the outstanding troops we have in TC waiting for them to recruit

We will be hosting one branch each scheduled night. Get your IRC up and running if you haven't already!

Please feel free to bring some questions for each branch to be asked during the Q&A session. New recruits and potential recruits are also welcome to attend. We will also plan an event or two, which might include a branch trivia battle or a TC trivia branch battle.

Our first night was be Tuesday, April 20 at 1800 erep time, with the Marines. We had a great turnout and want to thank everyone who attended!

Join us on Thursday, April 22 at 1800 erep when we will host the National Guard. If you have any questions about how to get on IRC, feel free to PM Captain Necros Xiaoban.

The Office of Magical Platoon Activities will be hosting an afternoon of fun exciting Trivia Saturday, 4/24 @ 1400 eRep in #tc
All troops who have graduated from basic training and have been transferred into the 3rd Division, or are awaiting placement are eligible to compete!
