It's 1957, and Bobby goes to pick up his date, Peggy Sue.
Peggy Sue's father answers the door and invites him in.
He asks Bobby what they're planning to do on the date.
Bobby tells him that they'll probably go to the mall shop or a drive-in movie.
Peggy Sue's father suggests, "Why don't you kids go out and screw? I hear all of the kids are doing it."
Bobby is shocked. "Excuse me, sir?"
"Oh yes," he replies. "Peggy Sue really likes to screw. She'll screw all night if we let her."
Peggy Sue comes downstairs and announces that she's ready to go.
About 20 minutes later, Peggy Sue rushes back into the house, slams the door behind her and screams, "Dad! The Twist! It's called the Twist!"

To je 1957. godine, a Bobby ide pokupiti svoj dan, Peggy Sue.
Peggy Sue otac odgovara na vrata i poziva ga.
On pita Bobby ono što oni planiraju učiniti na dan.
Bobby mu govori da će vjerojatno ići u tržnom centru radnje ili film drive-in.
Peggy Sue otac kaže, "Zašto ne djeca izaći i vijak? Čujem svi klinci to rade."
Bobby je šokiran. "Izvinite, gospodine?"
"Oh, da", odgovara on. "Peggy Sue stvarno voli da vijak. Ona će vijak cijelu noć, ako pustimo nju."
Peggy Sue dolazi dole i objavljuje da je ona spremna ići.
Oko 20 minuta kasnije, Peggy Sue juri natrag u kuću, zalupio vrata za sobom i vrišti, "Tata! The Twist! To se zove Twist!"
