Military Strength or Economic Strength?

Hello everyone! Johannes Cauf back again with another debate article that is a little bit late(my apologies, RL is super hectic)

I was pondering on the topic i would choose for my second Debate Article, and suddenly i had a Bureka!(Oh Eureka was it? Thanks Jean!) ehem, i meant eureka, moment.

I thought, why not ask about the military and the economy? It should bring plenty of spectators and supporters from both sides of the fence.

As always i will do my best to present a clear and unbiased bunch of facts for both sides of the debate. And i shall perhaps provide some neutral facts for the fence sitters to pick apart.

and here we have the military facts and assumptions who insist that they are the legitimate facts since they overthrew the previous facts who were quite frankly a disgrace to the name of factsumptions everywhere:

1. Strong Militaries can often be a massive deterrent that prevents war

2. A focus on military might ensures that the borders of a country are enforced and protected at all times

3. Superior Military Strength can make entire countries unstoppable.

4. A superior Military provides a facet for Superpowers to influence and even conduct international policy

Economic Facts and assumptions up next, who have given a hefty sum to be present here

1. A strong economy means a strong working class and trade, which can protect a country from war, for example, Countries are less likely to be hostile c**ts to someone who provides them with half their imports.

2.A strong economy can make a country untouchable. If a strongly economic nation were to use it's wealth to form alliances then these allies are more inclined to defend their Ally and it's interests, expecting perhaps a few trading concessions later on.

3. Too much economic strength can make rival nations want to compete. Some fight fire with fire but other nations might want to just build up their military and acquire a shiny new economic colony.

4. A weak economy would leave a country open to political and economic manipulation by other more economically powerful nations.

Neutral factsumptions are here!

1. A strong economy is usually interlinked to the ability to acquire superior military strength(where did you think your shiny tanks came from general?)

2. A strong military can be used to strengthen or defend a country's economy.

3. Having too much of both can sometimes mean that other aspects of the nation are ignored(social, political, environmental development, etc)

And there you have it folks.
Which do you believe in more? A strong military or a strong economy?
Comment your opinions below and let's have a productive discussion and debate!

RL is gonna be much more hectic for me so I won't be able to pump out as many articles as i would want, hopefully you guys understand

Have a fun discussion below!
