Ridiculous. Spartans would get slaughtered by ninjas in no time. And not even because the ninjas have more modern weapons and wider variety of those, but because ninjas are stealth assassins, while the Spartans are just warriors. They'd probably get gassed and decapitated in their sleep or something similar.

Yup. Really well trained warriors that would beat the hell out of almost any other warrior in the level field. But ninjas wouldn't fight fair. They'd rather evade the fight if they were not able to kill Spartans in their sleep or with some trickery.

Not true. Spartans defeat the ninja immortals in Millers "300". 😛

One Ninja would defeat one Spartan, perhaps two Ninjas would win a fight against two Spartans. But 300 Spartans would easily destroy 300 Ninjas.

Ninjas don't believe in direct conflict. They are not the army, they are assassins. You can't get 300 ninjas on a field fighting with 300 Spartans (in which case, who knows who'd win, both groups are rigorously trained from an early age, so, most probably, they'd both lose).

Anyway,athenians were better than spartans.Spartans had great army but no navy.
