My road to Canada or how I learned not to give a f**k what the eUS leaders think

Day 2,317, 17:46 Published in Canada Canada by MAS.

On June 17, 2013 after nearly 4 years and 11 terms in Congress I decided to walk away from the eUS for good. This was not a decision I made lightly, but thought about for a couple months, during my time in Congress I tried to bring a balance to government so all eAmericans could benefit from the system. But alas I had to admit to myself that it was a losing cause. So I applied and was granted citizenship to Australia http://www.erepublik.com/en/country/Australia/citizenship/applications/approved/229 while still not sure what I was looking for, I was sure as hell of what I wanted to get away from, a corrupt system that favored the few over the many.

After a little over 2 months in Australia and not really knowing many people there, Canada once again on the map, I applied for citizenship and this would be my last stand to either revive my interest in the game or to fade away. On August 26, 2013 I was given Canadian citizenship http://www.erepublik.com/en/country/Canada/citizenship/applications/approved/409 the hardest part of receiving Canadian CS, I knew it meant I would certainly at some point in the future have to cut my relationship with Seal Team Six, everything I had done in game up to this point had revolved around ST6.

It now has been 7 months since I have arrived in the land of snow and maple syrup (mmm) and this now is my home, I have served 6 terms in congress, during which I believe all my votes have been cast in the best interest of the country as a whole. I have fought a long side those who give over and above with no claim of recognition for doing so. I will be here, regions or not, as far as I’m concerned this is as close to my utopia as I’m going to find in eRep. For if you come here and work and give of yourself for the common good you’ll find that Canada is like a big family they may fight amongst themselves but when pushed they come together in time of need.

Canada, I stand on guard for thee, let the rebellion begin!
