Do you want to be an ambassador?

Day 812, 02:02 Published in South Africa Romania by SA Min. of Foreign Affairs

Another month, another list of ambassadors. January was a hectic month in the foreign affairs department as we furiously liaised with numerous countries to sign MPPs and arrange foreign support for our battles against Indonesia.

As a result, I had very little time to check up on my ambassadors, but that didn't stop a lot of them from giving regular updates and checking in with me on certain issues. Others never followed my instructions to begin with so these people have been uncerimoniously dropped from the ambassador corp.

Being an ambassador is a tough job. You have to try become a local in your assigned country (as far as language allows), read their news regularly, post updates on any interesting laws happening, etc. It's also a very rewarding job as you get to know new people and their cultures, and you play an integral part in getting South Africa "out there".

So are you ready to be one? We have quite a lot of job openings available at the moment, including high profile ones such as USA, Australia, Indonesia and UK. We've had one of our stars (Ryan Dagari) quit the game so he's left a few juicy morsels you could pick up.

Preference will, however, be given to my current ambassadors (those who survived January). Thanks for all your hard work, guys. I'm happy I have you as part of my team.

Here is the provisional list of ambassadors for February. If you see a country you'd like to ambassador to, send this org a PM. Remember, give me more than one choice. A new ambassador will NOT be given USA right off the bat, but stick around for a month and you WILL move up.

If you see the country you want occupied, check back in regularly since the ambassadors you see now may move out of a small country assignment to a bigger country assignment and your favourite country in the whole world may free up. 🙂
