Clarifications and an apology

All of you reading this is well aware of the unfortunate turn of events recently - the resignation of my vice president and raising of allegations of misconduct against myself. Many of my close friends and fellow citizens have messaged me about the matter. I understand all your concerns and they are perfectly valid ones. To those who have continued to support me through this, thank you. Your support means a lot to me.

I would like to take the opportunity to apologize - first of all to my fellow eIndians, for failing to handle this matter in a better manner and for the misuse of Indian foreign organizations. I fully appreciate the gravity of what I’ve done in this regard and deeply regret the same. I also would like to once again apologize to the Cuban establishment for posting inappropriate messages on their discord server.

I have apologized to Clorofila before and I would like to apologize again, for having escalated the matter unnecessarily and for all the messages I may have sent that made her feel unsafe. These messages were sent when I was not thinking clearly and I will detest from making any more approaches in the future, either through messages or in comments.

Many pressing matters in RL demand my immediate attention. On account of these pressing matters, I was unable to respond immediately to Fhaemita The Apostate’s requests for information. An assurance was given to the ex-VP, that I would tell my side of the story when time became available to me. I had counted on the many months of friendship and trust between us that he would understand and give me a chance to speak before taking any action.

The publication of the article with his resignation was written without careful establishment of all the facts. I find it disappointing that a person of Fhaemita The Apostate’s stature and reputation acted in a hasty manner. His actions have not only damaged my reputation, but also greatly dented eIndia’s image worldwide.

My primary objectives in mind when dealing with this matter was to safeguard eIndia’s interests, and I was forced to put matters in RL on hold and respond to the allegations publicity. I fully acknowledge that my response could have been better and I apologize for failing to take a more measured approach to the matter. I would also like to reiterate that the remaining members of my cabinet had no involvement in this matter and I take sole responsibility.

With regards to the substance of the allegations against me, they cannot be easily explained in a few words and are of a complex nature. I need more time to prepare an appropriate response containing all the facts, time which I do not have now. This article will be my last word on the matter, and I won’t be responding to any more comments in the future, until such a time I’m able to formulate a full response to clear my name. My intention at the present time is to serve out what remains of my term, and ensure a smooth transition for the next administration.
