All of Your Wildest Dreams

Day 2,558, 19:17 Published in USA USA by Tyler Bubblar

I returned to this game approximately a year and a half ago.  Once upon a time I had been a Chief of Staff to a sitting Senator from the AAP and eventually was voted into 3 terms of Congress myself for the AAP.  Other than that I was not massively involved in the meta aspect of the game. I would publish articles fairly regularly, train, build up my landworker skills, and hit the fight button.  I really did not envision much beyond that, I had modest expectations for my second tenure of eRepublik. Then I joined the Federalist Party.

The possibilities opened for me seemed endless.  I quickly realized that I was a part of group that actively works to help its members succeed.  I kept hearing and reading things like “newb centric meritocracy”.  I was offered opportunities to get involved at the Party level and in SHIELD the Fed MU.  After working in those posts promotions and Congress seats became available rather quickly.  Within 4 months of joining the Party I was Party President.  In additon to this after helping to prepare me for positions in multiple Presidential Cabinets, I am now less than a month removed from serving two terms as President of the eUSA. I have seen similar instances of new players rising through the ranks fairly often since my own.

Much has been written lately about the current state of the game.  I’ll be blunt: the game is crap, it’s been in shambles for a very long time.  That is not anything new. What has exacerbated the state of the game is the health of the community we have built around and behind the backdrop of erepublik. The “prop” provided to us by Plato is rather shabby and seems to become a little more worn and frayed with the passing of each and every day.  However the actors around it (the community) did their utmost to make up for it with creativity and enthusiasm.  That enthusiasm and creativity has begun to wax cold in the hearts of the eUSA.

Inspite of the aforementioned issues with this game and the waning community behind it, eRepublik has always been what you make of it.  The economy is in shambles, however due to more than a year of intelligent policy decisions full bonuses still allow business owners to carve out a profit. Savvy Foreign Affairs have given us an enviable geopolitical position in the world that allows us to hit for our Allies when and where we are most needed with few threats to our sovereignty.  The game is dilapidated and diminished from it’s glory days, but the opportunities for fun and involvement are still very much here.

The community is still here, and still crying out for fresh blood.  As I have stated the Federalist Party wants to help its members succeed in whatever path they envision for themselves.

Dream of using the media module to ask the hard questions?

The Fed Media Department is always looking for those who want to represent the Party and themselves through the written word.  In addition to this our Melissa Rose is Co-Secretary of Media, and they are always looking for reliable contributors for the Executive Newspaper.

Do you want to fight for the eUSA, and drop kick our enemies?

SHIELD is not only always recruiting they are loaded with programs designed to help new players learn the game and gain their strength.  If you already have an acceptable level of strength they have one of the most generous supply drops around.  Those looking to get involved in a military unit will have every opportunity to do so.

Are you looking to socialize with other players?

IRC is worth a look.  In addition to this The Fun Zone hosted on the Fed Forums is pretty much open to all regardless of Party affiliation.  It is a place to play games, and just enjoy interacting with other players. Our forums are moderated fairly and judiciously all are welcome as long as they can treat others with respect and tolerance.

Are you interested in Party Leadership or going National?

The Cool Kids Club will be Spearheading The Federalist Party Blood Drive our mission will be to help Shepherd interested members into involvement which will flow into opportunity to broaden horizons. We want to help you develop and display your skillset.

Would you like to tell Elitists off?

We have no shortage of prominent Feds who are unafraid of controversy. If you choose to raise your voice you will not find yourself alone in doing so.

If you are new to the game, a recent return, a long time two clicker, or any combination thereof we want you! We want you to become a part of our vibrant community.  We want you to rise until you become a leader.  When you succeed we succeed.  Because that is what made a shoddy browser game great. People working together to succeed.  The game is dying of misuse and neglect (as per usual), but the community around it can still thrive. The Federalist Party helped my wildest dreams come true.  We can do the same for you!
