25 comments article part 1: Taxes
Siaan Kaan
Well, this was planned to be just another „25 comments, please help“ article, but as it is, decided to write about something that I think lot of people don't agree.
I have started this game 12 days ago. I didn't know what to do and slowly learn through missions. In economic part of the game first thing I have notice how expensive was to work, 7.11 USD. A lot for a beginner like me who doesen't produce things to sell and earn money and make profit. On Friday when I loged on and went to my companies, I almost went blind. 11.82 USD to work in one company and that is more than 50% increase.
So, easily crunching my numbers, I produce 200 food Qq, 20 weapons Q1 and this weapons is every third day, as I only have 1 resource factory.
What I make every day is foo😛
200 Q1 food = 22 USD (not counting another tax when selling lets leave it like this)
and I need to pay taxes in amount of 59.1 USD to work.
What I can make every third day:
20 Q1 weapon = 1.6 USD (OMG) and on third day I need to pay 70.92 USD to use my company.
Ok, but I don't need to sell food and weapon, I can sell raw materials. And that brings me to next math.
I make 210 food resources per day which when sell brings 10.50 USD and again, I haven't take out taxes when selling.
Per day I make 70 weapon resources and that gives me 4.9 USD.
Working only in my resource factory's my tax is: 47.28 USD.
And now, for conclusion, I read and see other articles, I see that you need money to make war but how do you think I will grow with your taxes??? Do you really think that I will continue to work in my companies with taxes so big??

each time a new player creates a 10 gold alu mine(supposed to be the most profitable industry just a tip) and the government gets 5 cc for him working in that factory and 300 other players do the same they get an increase of 1500 cc per day in their total income. you can multiply it by 10 it gives 15000. ATM the economy is on a peak so one needs to balance growth with taxes. i would shoot though in your case for the 35 gold rubber plantation. you will get money for disposing of your less profitable businesses which you could use for wrm. your income there would allow you modest growth.

I'm not sure if this will help or not, but I'd suggest you stop working in your companies for now. Every time you do, you're going to pay a large tax. I'm not sure what you do with the things you produce, but you can receive free food and weapons through various programs without working your own companies. A good one to try would be this: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1vbxbb1vvl20_OjHEPrcAwE5XOjch6RkNYt0WJHOtgcQ/viewform
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm more than willing to help if I can.
On the brighter side, whether you like my advice or not, you're still 1 comment closer to 25! 🙂

The economic module for new players that do not invest RL money into the game is pretty poor.
What you should do is join a proper MU that has a training programme, train until you get loads of strength and then fight. This game is a war game and it should be treated as one.

To work in a q1 weapon factory is a total waste, anywhere. Get your mission done and stop doing it.
Commenting to help with the mission.
And as for your economic dilemma, I understand, but honestly, Marius CB said just what I would have some comments up.
