[WTP] Cast your vote, if but only to have a voice.

Hello WTPers - And to whoever else may be in attendance.

I'm here to bring you a message that I think is crucial to the survival of our party, and the game itself. This is important to all of us. Even members of other parties. Mixed in, will be my official endorsement for the upcoming PP term.

Some of you know me from when I first began to rekindle my interest in eRep - about 4 years ago. Some of you have seen me in the shoutboxes, or adding my two cents in articles that spark my attention - sometimes a bit vehemently (There's a reason I chose the name "Intolerant", after all!!)

During the beginning of my eRep experience, I had no interest in politics. It was all war and businesses to me. After a time of no political activity, I had decided to finally pick up the second half of the game and choose a party, (It was SUCH a big decision as a noob.) so I sent mails out to the PPs of each Top 5 party asking their stance on politics and what the party could offer.

Out of the mails sent to the top 5 parties at the time, only one responded. WTP's very own MazzyCat!! After a few days of mailing back and forth (and giving the other parties a chance to reply,) WTP was the obvious choice - a freethinking, mix of people from all walks of life; that welcomes all!)

I'm not going to go on about her qualifications, you old timers already know. But for you new folks, I'll just say that she's been PP before (many times) and lifted us at 3rd national party; and on some of the very same foundations that she laid, went on to peak at 2nd national party for a very brief time.

If you ask me, this is the exact kind of figurehead that we need over our party. The kind of person that will extend the hand of kindness, and welcome to any that seek knowledge and shelter. A people's person, to bring new players with new thoughts and ideas into the party; swelling our ranks, and increasing the already-gargantuan pool of talent we have amassed.


(Because WTP is a home for the lions, tigers, and bears too.)

I'm not going to tell you to go vote for her, my friends, for that is up to you to decide. Do some research on each candidate, and choose who YOU think will best support WTP's interests.

However, I am going to stress the importance of your vote. Choose SOMEBODY. Have a voice! For this is what WTP is about, giving the power of the decision-making process to our members. Speak your thoughts in the party feeds, forums, or IRC. Show us you care! The more you each speak your thoughts, the more WTP has a chance to evolve; and grow to maximum potential! The exact same goes with non-WTP members - speak up to your respective party leads. Let them know what you think about your parties. It only helps the team grow as a whole...
