Indonesia Update
The Indonesia War has concluded and fighting has been limited to a few fights back and forth for TP and RW medals for the American people.

The Defense, State, and Executive Departments would like to thank private MU War INC for generously coordinating with the eUS government and providing the costs to start RWs in Indonesia to allow Americans to continue fighting for TP medals and damage. This generosity by War INC has kept the RW wars free to taxpayers. Thank you War INC for you help and effort.

However, it would be remiss to not acknowledge the help and damage dealt by hundreds of eUS citizens. You are the champions of this victory. Hail eUSA!

Acknowledgement of Deputies
Tom Cauchon, Sec of Media

Everyone has heard of the big names in the eUS government: the Cabinet Members, POTUS, his staff, and the typical Congressional members. However, important parts of the government, perhaps the most important parts, are the deputies that work for the heads of departments in the Cabinet. Deputies are some of the most important citizens in the eUS and often do just as much work as the Cabinet heads. However, they are often lesser known players that don’t receive the same fanfare and applause that perhaps Trekker, Garmr and ViKy do.

Today the Media Department would like to celebrate all the work that the Cabinet deputies have done, today and historically, for the eUS. This is our gift to you: a big thank you for all that you do. A functioning eUS government wouldn’t be possible without you.

Here is a comprehensive list of all current deputies:

Chief of Staff Deputies:

Helpful Investment Notes

Editor’s Note: Thank you to GoTJ for his insightful and helpful contribution to today’s WHPR

Writer’s Disclaimer:

Small changes can have a huge impact on the economy.
Plato is making money, through the creation of money. It's not in the interest of RL investors, to make you self-sufficient.
Despite the unstable economy and nature of capitalists; there are ways to make money and some people are making lots of it.

Personally, I'm offended by the concept of profiting from exploitation, but with that being said; I'm going to be including them, as examples, in this article.

#1. Get a Job:

#1. a: Most people work in a commune.
Ironically, this is eRepublik's #1 form of worker exploitation.
Workers are paid, a fraction of their market value, with the promise of supplies.

#1. b: Some work on the, virtual, market.
It typically, pays best, but the taxes can make or break it. You can apply for a job; in whatever nation you are visiting.

#1. c: PilotPhil and I work for each other.
I don't have any problem coping with the concept of ownership. Phil and I don't supply one another, so it's almost as if I did the work myself.
We were able to complete the economy missions, by letting the work days build-up.

#2. Invest:

#2. a: There is money being made, from the housing market.
The Q1 houses are making the most, but the raw material and the other houses are profitable.
The taxes are making Q1 most profitable, so it could change. Plato looks poised to introduce more houses. They are already on the market, but we can't get those factories, yet. When they are introduced, demand for the other houses will go down. However, the demand for raw material will increase.

#2. b: The easiest thing that you could do is buy low and sell high.
You don't need a lot of money to do it, so anyone can get into the game, here.
I suggest that you get some storage.

#2. c: Training ground upgrades are the most profitable thing that can be done; if you log on daily. You get paid to gain strength and nothing pays better. Need I say more?
Oh, yes, I should; There are discounts for training grounds. It happens about once, monthly. Don't waste your gold.

#2. 😛 Exploit the Dictator Module. Invest 200,000 treasury notes and try to put the population under your thumb.
Collect the taxes and concentrate on more important things. Such as; "Who is trying to overthrow you?"

If you want to proceed with this module, I have found a tool that will help anyone that is considering an investment.
