[USWP] Pfeiffer for Party President

Day 2,577, 15:45 Published in USA USA by Pfeiffer.

I am here to announce my intention to stand for another term as President of the United States Workers Party.

Christmas!!!

This month has been productive, but I'll be the first to say that I missed my mark in a few ways. I had a work issue jump up and bite me right in the butt, and I've had to spend far more time dealing with that than I anticipated.

Luckily, in a week or so that will all have calmed down and things will be back to 'normal', whatever that means.

This won't be like 2011 where I was Party President for four months in a row (although they are historically our most successful period), I intend to serve the coming term and then return to the Odinsleep (Yes, Odin is alive and well, people just didn't seem to want to do the Norse mythology thing en masse).

For the coming month I'd like to throw some more bodies at Dely for his recruitment work, we've seen a number of lazy people fall by the wayside, and we need to re-engage on this front.

I want to publish more regularly, and enlist some of our leadership to do so as well.

I want to have some more dialogue between the Party Presidents. Not because I think it's all that necessary for any objective reason, but because we should have more current and concrete understandings of where the others are coming from.

Another objective for the next month will be continued cultivation of future leaders. Our Executive Board has recently elevated Malarkey to their ranks, and I would like to try and find a few more people who might be up to joining the EB in coming days.

Something Dely mentioned in his PP article was that he'd like to publish the names of the Executive Board. I suppose I never thought that people would have any trouble finding our leadership, as they should be evident by their actions...but for those who aren't sure:

Deepchill
Delyruin
Kemal
Malarkey
Pfeiffer
SColbert
Wild Owl

are in the 'active' Executive Board user group on the forum. There is little distinction between this group and the 'Emeritus' group, though the Emeritus group does not in its own right grant access to the sub-forum we use for primaries.

Emeritus members are generally former Party Presidents and other elders who have contributed to the party over a long period of time and who are still considered by the majority of the EB as trustworthy and reliable (when called upon).

Cerb, Civil Anarchy, DisDick, ElmieJr, Fionia, Gnilraps, Hadrian X, Inwegen, Jason (LexLuthor1), Killing Time, Kortanul, ligtreb, Lord Krauser, Pfeiffer, scrabman, SweetBags, tdwester, and Wild Owl are in this user group.

Others come and go in the Emeritus group as their activity levels dictate, but if you look over the list, you'll find that many of those named are inactive, or two click, and are there largely as a thank you for their service. Many of them don't even check the forum regularly, but when they do we like to make them feel welcome.

I am asking for the support of the membership of the United States Workers Party again, and hope to serve you all well in the coming month. The USWP is, and will always be, the greatest party in the history of this country, and ranks among the greatest in the game. This is a legacy I take seriously, and will work doggedly to protect and continue.

I hope that any member with questions will feel free to message me at any time. I look forward to speaking more with you all.

Yours,

-Pfeiffer
