Mood Music: No other reason than it’s stuck in my head

With the ongoing shuffling of the Top 5 parties, there’s been some discussions amongst USWP leadership about the idea of a merger with another party. Generally, the outcome has been that we were not yet ready to let go of one of the oldest parties in the country. The home of many presidents, congressmen, and other leaders over the past 15 years.

It’s not a decision made lightly, to merge your identity with another. But over the last two months, party leadership has been preparing to do so, and at this time we are ready to announce that the United States Workers Party will officially merge into the Federalist Party.

There’s been a lot of work behind the scenes to ensure that as we move into our new home, we’ll be able to become an important part of the new blended community. USWP has long had a strong relationship with the Feds, so it will make a very suitable home for us for the future.

Please join me in moving to our new home!

Honestly, this was a long time coming and I know an issue discussed for sometime. I think the Feds are the natural fit for USWP as both parties work very closely as it is already. I am saddened to see USWP go, but after all.
