[USWP] Lets Get Started

I’ve been a member of the United States Workers Party for almost a year now. As a party, we’ve come a long way in the past year.

When I restarted playing eRepublik, the USWP was ranked fourth, occasionally fifth, and our showing nationally and in the Legislature was drab. Our influence had decreased, and we were a shadow of the party that had been rank 1 when led by Pfeiffer, Inwegen, Cerb, Artela and others. In the past year, many of us have worked together to change this, and we have come a long way. The United States Workers Party is now firmly entrenched in the Executive and works extremely well in the Legislature, often attaining key positions in both. All of this would not have been possible, without the support of our loyal party workers, and I, on behalf of the party Executive, thank you for that.

Being elected as Party President for the fifth time is an interesting feeling. I’ve been PP before, and I’d like to think that I’ve done extremely well for the party and deserve to be where I am. That being said, there is absolutely no room for complacency. On the 15th, we were attacked by someone posing as Pfeiffer as they attempted to take over our party. However, our loyal party members responded well, and the USWP was able to take care of itself without needing any help from elsewhere. We actually did better than any of the other parties that weren’t under threat, and that itself speaks volumes about our organisation.

Moving forward, I’d like our party to move forward and agree on issues, that we can present and defend as a united front. Where do you stand regarding the war on Canada? What is your stance in the tax debate? What do you think about our alliance? What can the USWP do to improve the situation of its members? These are questions which I shall be asking you guys in the coming week, as we attempt to build together a consensus. To participate in the debate, please do register on our forums. This will be a very issue-oriented Party Presidentship. I am convinced that it will make the United States Workers Party a better place. I hope you guys support me.
