[USWP] Deepchill for President!

I am here to proudly announce that Deepchill is the USWP Nominee for President of the USA this month.



A long time USWP member, and even longer tenured Commander of Easy Company, Deepchill has shown his dedication to doing what's needed, when needed, without seeking the limelight. He has lead one of the best military units in our national history for some time, served as USWP Party President, run the National Security Council, mapped out our war plans, and often coordinated both narrow and broadly targeted mass attacks on behalf of the USA.



While there are a number of reasons to support Deepchill in his bid for the Presidency, the most important one I can express to you is why I chose to support him as soon as he told me he told me he had decided to run:

Reliability

When Deepchill commits, he follows through.

When there is a dropped ball that needs to be run with, he's right there to pick it up and get running.

He's trustworthy, honest, and will always be first in and last out when a job needs doing.

He's a leader that the USWP can be proud to support, and the USA will be lucky to have guiding us as President.



Something else I feel compelled to bring up is that Deepchill supports every player. Always, period. He and I often butt heads over this, as he has supported CHS/Franklin Stone in his capacity as an EZC member, and while I think CHS is a bit insane, and has a strange fetish for me, in the MU he's shown he is reliable and genuinely wants to see more people active on our shout feed and forum. Deepchill recruited several people to his cabinet over my (and others) objections, because he can get along personally with them, and wants to show others that they can make meaningful contributions to the community.

With most candidates, that would make me turn the other way and find someone else to support, but if he can keep CHS contributing in a positive manner in EZC then I imagine he can make a cabinet built with people from all ends of the political spectrum run well.

In that vein, the people he has supporting him in the areas he is weak - article writing, most glaringly, are the absolute best. Gnilraps running point on Media with Custer there to help him whip the rest of the team in to shape? I'm sorry, but whatever shortcomings he has in that area are well covered.

He's built a strong core team, and given all of his point people a long list of deputies to both support them in their role, and to each continue to grow in their understanding of the broader scopes of the departments in question. No Secretary (aside from sinecures) has fewer than two deputies, and the most vital State and NSC have five and six, respectively.

Simply put, he's built a team that will do the job in an amazing fashion for the coming month...and which will grow us some new leaders for the future. He's testing old and new players alike, and those who come through the other side will be all the better for it.

As will we all.



Due to my years long friendship with rainy sunday, the other candidate in our primary, I feel compelled to comment on her candidacy in the best way I know how to do so. rainy is amazing. Out of all of my friends in eRepublik, I've spent more time sitting on the phone talking to rainy about nothing, gossiping, complaining, and generally venting to and with her about this game and life in general.

Now the part I didn't want to write, but part of campaigns is contrast...Over the last several months rainy simply hasn't been present. She has the ability to do the job, but the question remains...will she log in tomorrow? I have said, and continue to think she will make a fine President, but this campaign is something she agreed to because her friends half-jokingly brought it up and she agreed because 'why not?'. That's fine, but I'd much rather support, advocate for, and ultimately vote for, the candidate who planned his campaign, cabinet, and objectives for his term in office.



That candidate is Deepchill. I urge all Americans, especially my brethren in the United States Workers Party, to vote for him this month, and then immediately begin spamming rainy to make a more serious run for the Presidency a priority in her eLife.
