[TBSP] On the Last Episode of Barn Antics

Day 2,681, 20:15 Published in USA USA by eShades

Hi, America. Tomorrow marks the Black Sheep Party's twelfth consecutive month in Congress. Thank you so very much for all your support. I know some of you reading this aren't in our party, but that's irrelevant. Thanks for still playing this game and keeping it fun by coming along with us, eUSA.

Before you close this tab: the article is relatively? short and there may even be grammatically-proper sentences!

A year ago, I never thought we'd have come this far!

We formed the Black Sheep Party because we wanted to make some changes. We've never cared for power or prestige; our name, Black Sheep, demonstrates that. We will stand out, and do it proudly.

We had an effect pretty early on:

I was so happy that I was contemplating the "share to Facebook" button.

Along with the Tyler-led Feds and a few members of AMP and the newly reformed WTP (LAP shoutout!), TBSP was able to - after heavy debate - fulfill one of our first goals: lowering the work tax to be more comparable to top-tier eWorld standards. We stood behind the little people and came out on top. We are little people here in the barn as well, to be honest, and we were content with this. All was well until the tax rate was again severely hiked six months ago.

And then the fire nation attacked....

Everyone knows where this party stands. We are an open book and we have no qualms about voicing our displeasure -- loudly. And we have been doing so. An extravagant work tax is not something I can get behind.

BAM! And now the work tax is no longer at twelve percent. Congress decreased it to ten percent because every party supported it (including our partners-in-law over in SFP “(`(エ)´)ノ). Let's pay into the eUS government to keep the eUS as efficient as ever, but we can do it with an even lower tax rate and still have a growing surplus. Eight percent is exceptional, twelve is tough. Let's do it. The sixty-two congressmen-and-women we elected late last month can do it.

The Black Sheep Party still has a lot of work to do in eUS Congress. With your help a year ago, we earned our spot among the glorious parties in the eUSA. Thank you. We've never ran a party before, so without your continuous input, we'd just be ordinary e-citizens floundering without direction (and I wouldn't be a vice president of a top five party, fo sho). Please continue to voice your thoughts. Oh, and please vote for us in Congressional Elections on March 25th (as an anniversary present?).

The Black Sheep Party has always been a party strictly supporting every player rather than a certain few. If you're interested, join us and get active!

Is the Black Sheep Party right for you?

(By the way, VMA-214 The Black Sheep fight according to eUS prios. If you're interested in more fun than eRep has to offer, we have you covered. Join today. Or tomorrow. We'll be here.)
