[Presidential Address] The First Eight Hours!

Day 2,785, 14:34 Published in Canada Canada by DMV3

Greetings friends and fellow Canadians. The first day of an average Presidency is uneventful; lots of messages, getting the cabinet together and working, etc. Today however has been more eventful than normal. We took Lower Saxony and Bremen in the early hours before the election had closed, we began plans for our next attack, and we attended an emergency Orion meeting. We pledged funds to defend the French from Chilean aggression, and we nominated MoFA Klop123 to SG of Orion. All in all a fairly busy beginning to the term.

Perseverance

We will be launching our next attack on Germany relatively soon and we will be putting a lot of time, efforts, and reasources into winning it, but I need our people ready and focused on a more important battle coming in the next 48 hours. We will be fighting a more important battle because we will be fighting indigestion. You see some time in the next 48 hours we will be dining on Chile in defense of our French allies and brothers. Everyone knows when you eat Chile you get heartburn, so save up your tanks, stock up on energy bars, and most importantly have the antacids ready for the feast we will be serving up when Chile attempts to land in France.

Chile must not be allowed to land in Europe, so for that reason Rylde and myself have pledged to run COs in order to shoot Chile out of the sky over the Atlantic. This will be the most important battle of the day once it is launched, but to be honest this may be the most important battle of the term for us as well. If Chile lands they pose a major threat to our allies, but they also pose a major threat to our European holdings.

I ask my people to be waiting and to be prepared for this battle because it will decide our ability to wage our own offensive wars this term.

Hail the eCanadian Empire!
Hail Orion!
Hail France!
Fail Chile!
