[PCP] Party news bulletin

Day 1,998, 12:47 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Yossarian Afudyakno

Welcome to the second edition of Rude Pravo. This will be a brief roundup of news concerning the eUK and the party.

AYAME TAKES THE PRESIDENCY: In a sweeping landslide of over 60%, long-time party contributor Ayame Crocodile has taken power as Prime Minister (Country President) of the eUK. With crossbench support of all major political parties excluding the UKPP, Ayame's cabinet reflects a meritocratic vision of government that the PCP has always advocated and practiced internally, with completely apolitical appointments. While best known recently throughout the nation as MoHA, Ayame is well-loved by party members due to his contributions over many years to party life, his unwavering loyalty to the communist ideal paired with a strong commitment to practically supporting new and old players, and a very respectable four terms as Party Spokesman. The Rude Pravo wishes him all the best for this term and may there be many more!

PARTY RETAINS CORE SEATS: The PCP has kept its two members of Congress in the latest elections. Comrade Calross negotiated again with the New Era party to see the author, Yossarian, and old fart Teppishc (Office of National Statistics) sent to Westminster to represent party interests. This is despite the relatively low placement of the party in the NE lists, which in turn reflects our comparatively small party population in modern eUK politics. The PCP therefore is still truly punching above its weight in both the legislative and executive branches of eGovernment. A short biography of Tepp:

"Originally invited into the game by Acroc (aka Ayame Crocodile), I played the game for a couple of weeks and got distracted. In a fit of procrastination I rediscovered the game about 18 months ago and have been clicking almost every day since.

"After a few days in TUP/family I was lured to Legion by the supplies (shallow me😛) but have stayed there ever since because of some great people, attitudes and atmosphere.

"Having drunkenly pestered Acroc to come out of eRetirement I left ESO to move into the PCP, which I have happily called my home ever since, with the friendly, interesting and varied group we call a party 🙂"

As his fellow congressman, I can say that he is living up to his reputation as a hard worker, inquisitively engaging with the issues of the day!

Pic relate😛 Martha Lane Fox was recently admitted as the youngest female member of the RL House of Lords. She's a MILF, and I couldn't find another pic. Scroll down now...

BOWEN'S BACK: Ancient eUK world-class fighter bowen199 has made a return to the eUK and the PCP this week after spending a few discerning months in eSwitzerland. There he was Minister of Interior and Education before gaining a shiny County President medal, and it is hoped that he will bring these experiences back with him to help build the party's collective resumé.

For party members too young/forgetful to recall bowen, he served as Party Spokesman several times in 2010 and instituted reforms to the committee system which are still extant to some extent, to increase transparency, efficiency and democracy in internal party decision-making. All party members should welcome him back on the forum!

Bowen is another example of a party member who has served several times as PP to go on to serve as a Country President, so younger players with ambition, take note!

Bowen and... err... his brother(?) return to the eUK, ready to fight the good fight

CALROSS LEADS PARTY IN INTERNATIONALISM: After being acclaimed party representative to the eComintern Central Committee, Calross has entered his new role with gusto. He invites all party members to the eComintern Congress:

"On #leftists, Sunday 12th May @ 11:00 eRepublik time. We have two topics for the meeting :
1. Declaration of Central Committee eComintern
2. Discus about rules for our forum http://ecominterna.world-servers.com/
so we can start to use it."

All party members are encouraged to attend.

The Congress is awaiting delegates! Make your mark on eCommunism and eSocialism this Sunday

AND FINALLY... Old man of the PCP, Steeeev, has been knocked off the top spot for exp in the party!

At Level 58, Steeeev now lags behind both Sir Botham (60) and Aces Man (61). An important role, since the party member with the most EXP is appointed PP should the PP be rendered unfit for office by being banned. However, power-hungry Steeeev is apparently aiming to get back to the top spot by the end of the current PP term. 😉

All the best, keep fighting the good fight, and I hope to see as many of you as possible at the eComintern Congress!
