[NotAMP?] Chess Tournament

Hey Emericka, I'm too lazy to say anything today. Basically, Chess Tournament with mostly AMP-given prizes. Anyone is free to enter, not just an AMP/Emerickan thing.



eUSA Chess Tournament Official Rules

Officials: Leothechosen, PurpleEggman, Senryaku
(AMP People)

Starts on July 25th

1. This will be a double elimination tournament (example: http://hwsa.net/old-site/images/RT-6-Team.jpg).

2. A bracket like the example link above will be created and maintained by tournament officials.

3. Initial pair ups will be determined by tournament officials using http://www.random.org

4. The top name in each pair up is the player that will initially play white.

5. The player who initially plays white is also the player who will create the game using http://en.lichess.org
i) Click “Play with a friend” and set the game parameters as follows:
Variant: Standard
Time control: Real time
Minutes per side: 15
Increment in seconds: 0
Each pair up will be a best-of-three playoff in which the first player winning two games will deemed the winner.

6. In the event of a draw or stalemate, half of a win will be awarded to each player.

7. Each individual game will be monitored by a tournament official and will have a total time of 30 minutes, allowing each player 15 minutes of playtime.

8. After each game, the losing player is responsible for requesting a rematch. This must take place within 15 minutes of the conclusion to the previous game. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the pair up on their part.

9. Conversely, if the opposite player does not accept the rematch within the 15 minute window, it will be considered a forfeiture of the pair up on their part.
