[MoHA] New month, new duties

Dear citizens of the Netherlands,

As you have read, the former Ministries of Information and Recruitment & Coaching have been re-merged with the Ministry of Home Affairs. Over the past time, these three ministries have been working alongside eachother, while cooperating would have been possible at many occasions. The MoHA function had meanwhile been shrinking every month, until it eventually only consisted of managing the immigration applications at the SCI.

The reorganization does not mean that any of the work that has been done previously is now being stopped. The work that the MoI and MoRC did was very much appreciated and it will continue just like it was. However, in a small community with shrinking activity, we felt the need for one, strong ministry that had the simple job description: be there for the Dutch citizens.

Our community has always been small but active. Activity, however, is lacking the past few months. The Ministry feels that it is its job to do something about this. Therefore, we will focus mainly on young and new citizens whom we can help, guide and educate through the game. Our strategy will be one of friendly cooperation and coordination.

The Ministry of Home Affairs will be occupied with:
1. Coaching
- Welcoming new Dutch players
- Educating and guiding young players through the game

2. Informing
- Announcing about main events that take place ingame and on the forum
- Posting and re-posting educational articles with game information and tips

3. Regulating
- Processing new citizenship applications through the SCI
- Handing out forum registration bonuses

Interesting mixture of tasks. I'm wondering if it is more convenient to have a ministry with so many tasks, rather than seperate ministries...

Should we mail all of you individually if we have a question?

A mail to one of us will most likely end up with everyone involved. Of course there is a group chat with the CP as well. In some cases, a question can be answered by the team member you sent it too.
Thanks for your comment, however I don't hink the tasks are a difficult mixture. The job description is pretty clear - be a communication point for young (and old) players - and the more exotic tasks like the SCI are very small and not enough for a seperate ministry to take care of. 😉

Yeah, I agree that immigration is relatively little work. We've already seen combined MoHA and MoI ministries in the past. And MoI can be as much work as you want...

Also adding MoC to it may be a bit much... You may end up neglecting one of the tasks.

Gwom has taken up the task of continuing his work in the Coaching department. He will have Arcanic's and my help with that. We'll see how it ends up, maybe you prove to be right, but I don't predict any big issues this month. But we'll see how it rolls, thanks for being critical! 😉
