[MoFA] Foreign Affairs Revived

Day 748, 08:52 Published in South Africa Romania by SA Min. of Foreign Affairs
South Africa,
Good to be back in my old office! Vice President was nice, but Foreign Affairs has always been my favourite. I missed my ambassadors, and being able to innovate and really work for SA with clear cut goals.
With past operations such as Exploding Fist (Recruitment Campaign), we're always keep people guessing. Who knows what sort of things MoFA will be undertaking this term? You'll have to subscribe and stay tuned to find out.
First the Ambassador Corp is being revived. Plus a new twist, a whole new prestigious section of my ministry for those who aspire to a government role, and who want to truly help South Africa. Interested? You should be, the most promising students at this new "academy" will be at the forefront of all the exciting things FA entails. High security clearance included.

Ambassador Corp.
You all know the drill. My ambassador corp. is never your average - register on a forum and check in now and then - sort of an operation.

Ambassadors this term will be expected to:
-Specialize in their target country. Get to know their current situation and a bit of their history.
-Hang around on their (IRC Ideally) and forum
-Make friends and contacts, people who you know and are friendly to SA who you can refer me to.
-Seek out beneficial relations, whether a resource deal or just a social gathering. (IRC get together eSports league, chess, poker, anything.)
-Bring South Africa's and the target country's community closer together
-Report back to me with interesting info and be prepared to write short summary reports which will be published for the public's information

Applying to Ambassador Corp.
The ambassador corp should be taken seriously, but don't decide not to join up because you think it'll be too much work. It involves expanding your view to include another country, but it shouldn't consume too much time. I want each of you to really care, and gain recognition for your work, but not stress over it.

Why Be an Ambassador?
1) Meet New People-
The best part about eRepublik is the social aspect, making new contacts. Being an ambassador launches you into a situation that provides a lot of opportunities to do so.

2) Gain recognition at home in South Africa
Becoming an ambassador is a great gateway into government and provides you with legitimate experience, both in Foreign Affairs, and general accountability/communication.

3) Ministry Accommodations include gold plated toilets, private jets, and hot wimmin.

If you are interested in becoming an ambassador, fill out this form and submit it here.
All citizens will be considered, we always need more ambassadors at MoFA.

Foreign Affairs Academy
The FA Academy is a new feature in this month's ministry. Its purpose is to train future ministers and politicians, and to lend experience and eWorld knowledge. Students will be mentored by me directly and be involved in my work first-hand. Think of FA students as being on around the same level as Deputy Ministers.
If you are accepted into the academy, and do well within it, you might find yourself at the front lines of politics. Foreign Affairs is where many of the big decisions happen.

PM SA Min. of Foreign Affairs
I encourage all who are interested to apply by PMing this org.
Due to how high-profile and prestigious these positions will be, don't feel badly if you are denied. It happens. And conversely, all those who are accepted should be extremely proud.

I will be accepting between two and four applicants.

Vote & Subscribe
Please subscribe and vote up articles. Org votes for this initial recruitment article are especially appreciated and will help greatly with publicity and success for MoFA in this term.
Stay tuned for all of the exciting things we'll be doing this December.

Minister of Foreign Affairs,
Oceanus
