I decided, in agree with My Party, to write an article to show the relationships between the eRepublik's countries. So i sent a PM to a representative of the government of each country with these questions:


1) Which are the 3 countries that your country considers its best allies/friends?

2) Which are the 3 countries that your country considers its enemies?

3) What is your opinion about Italy?


For the first countries, i have contacted Minister of Education (in the article "MoEd"), because in italian version of eRepublik, it's called "Minister of Information", so i have thinked that was the correct person to contact... after that i saw the english version i preferred to contact MoFa or CP.

All the opinions reported are personal opinions, so you must not interpret it like official positions of these countries. I hope to have chosen a representative person for each country (only for this reason i have chosen one in political page), but if someone wants to argue, feel free to add a comment.


Albania - Dobit1 - (It's only his personal opinion. For the Albanian official answers see below)

1) Turkey, USA, Poland
2) Serbia is our enemy, and it will be forever our enemy.
3) My Country has good opinion about Italy. We have good relations with Italy, we will help Italy in some Big Battles and expect against Serbia.


I have received some replies about these answers, from some Albanian players (including CP) who want to distance themselves from these answers.

So these are the answers officially given to me by Government of Albania, by Dark.Prince – MoFA

1) We have a long list of best allies.
2) Our artificial enemy Serbia, Serbia, and recently our natural enemy is Serbia.
3) Luckily my Country is near a good friendly nation as Italia. We have always had good relations and even if a big evil called Serbia will not unite us.

Argentina - Razhiel23 - MoEd

1) Colombia, Serbia, Uruguay, Romania, and certainly Greece and Turkey.
2) Spain appears as the most obvious enemy, after you can consider the United States and Russia, but this is mainly due to the reorganization of the alliances that we locate in different paths..
3) Italy has been a long time friend and enemy, depends more on the circumstances and by membership in an alliance.

P.s. Thanks for the answer in italian, i translated all in english for allow an easy read to all that have answered my questions... i'm not sure to have understood correctly the answer nr.3... i hope i have made a right translation.

Australia - James Rellory - MoEd

1) Humm... Probably eUK, ePoland and eGreece.
2) eChile and eIndoneisa mainly, I cant think of anyone else.
3) Well, eAustralia and eItaly don't have much of a relationship.

Austria - yst31 - CP

1) Slovenia and Slovakia. I would put 2 as we consider them very close friends.
2) Croatia. We haven't got any enemies apart of that.
3) We are neighbours but as we were in different alliances we have a distant relation. I would say 5/10

Belgium - Chihiroh - MoEd

1) Our allies are mainly UK, Poland and Switzerland.
2) Our only lang lasting enemy is France.
3) Italy... heard not much about them but they are buddies with the Swiss so yeah ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Bosnia and Herzegovina - BIHkontinent - CP

1) Croatia, Albania, Turkey
2) Serbia, others are the same
3) Italy is a country which we admire and we had always god relations.

Brazil - Nikola Tesla - CP

1) It's hard to answer that questions because, sincerly we have great friends and we had strong bonds with many countries before, but nowadays I could say we to close with: Croatia, Spain and Peru
2) Brazil has only two enemies: Argentina and Malvinas (Falkland)
3) We see Italy as a country that just ended a cycle and started another with better and greater position, we weren't that close before but we surely would like to start this path between eachother and then become closer, we see Italy as a friend of our friends, what makes us friend too.

Canada - Utat - MoEd

1) Irish / France / Portugal
2) Poland / Spain / UK
3) Italy is a nice country with a lots to manage with Poland+Serbia+Spain close to his lands.

Chile - Laura Andreea - MoEd

1) Bulgaria, Macedonia, Paraguay
2) Maybe Peru, it's enough
3) i love italy, i played some time in Italy, nice people, this country deserve more much more.

China - Atracurium - CP

1) Well, based on our national survey. The highest points goes to ROC, Argentina and
"Greece & Romania & Croatia".
2) Not much in particular. Countries which try to PTO us, that is not well like and leads to hate.
3) I believe one day we will be back in the same alliance again. 🙂

Croatia - Feynovac - MoEd

1) Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey, Finland.
2) Serbia, Slovenia, Serbia, Slovenia, Serbia, Slovenia. 😃
3) Italy is a great ally who i love to fight for and to see when fighting for us.

Cyprus - marcelbok - CP

1) USA, Chile, Turkey
2) Croatia, Greece at the moment, Iran
3) Italy is a tight well organized community but it happens to be in geological bad position in the map. I remember that we have been allies in the old past and it would be our honor to be again.

Czech-Republic - jjjajo13 - MoFA

1) Belarus, Ukraine, Greece.
2) Poland, Germany, FYROM.
3) Good country with big problems, because you have bad location.

Egypt - Rupert Hallamer - MoFA

1) (1 and 2) Our country wants to have as many friends as it can, and so at the moment we're neutral. We've neither clear allies nor enemies, and so we're in contact as much as we can with our neighbors.
3) Italy is a so necessary country to face powerful Serbia. I've personally helped in many of your RWs, so I like you! Keep fighting, friends!

Finland - Kendo Yanar - CP

1) Right now I'd probably say Sweden, Russia and Croatia. But it's my personal opinion 🙂
2) Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia
3) I personally love Italy! Although in this game Italy isn't one of the strongest countries, but still I wouldn't mind having MPP with Italy.

France - Yakou - MoFA

1) For common french people, the best is the last in war: Ireland/Canada/ and an old friend Germany.
2) Same thing for ennemies but only 2 in fact: Poland and UK
3) Italy is a friend like other little countries occupied. We have many wars in common in the past. But today we are afraid to see italy with our ennemies.

Hungary - karaj22 - MoFA

1) Serbia, Slovenia, Argentina
2) Ukraine, Croatia
3) We did not have any relations with Italy in the past, there were some ambassadors exchanging informations and that is all. We do not have common interests as I see it now.

Indonesia - ichighost - MoFA

1) Chile, Macedonia, and Bulgaria. We have long history of friendship 😃
2) Australia, Australia, and Australia. 😃
3) Italy is a tough country despite relatively smaller than other countries in their neighborhood and being bullied by eSerbia for long time.

Iran - El Senso - CP

1) I can't say clear that you know i think all countries are our friends except eTurkey!
2) Only eTurkey is our enemy in this game.
3) Italy is my favorite country and many of my country people love Italy.
also i was my first 2 years of my playing in eItaly with my old account and have good memories from those days.
So if i someday want to leave my country i'm sure Italy is my only choice 🙂

Ireland - irishbhoy1967 - Mofa

1) Canada, Croatia, USA.
2) The only country we have ever really considered a direct enemy is UK.
3) Good guys but quiet internationally. Need to be louder and more involved.

Israel - John TG - MoFA

1) I consider as best allies/friends Greece,Turkey,Argentina
2) I consider as enemies : Saudi arabia, Egypt.
3) Personally i like Italy in erep and rl very much! But in this game, Italy is a bit unlucky, because it has as neighbors strong countries that they re seeking for Italy's bonus, as Serbia and Slovenia! I think that Italy needs a big babyboom so they can challenge its enemies.

Latvia - Soulcraft - CP

1) We consider Lithuania as our best allies and friends. We have long past together through up's and down's but we always have stayed together. We had some issues,but we always fix them. For our friends we can name Poland and Spain,more or less due to fact we never leave our friends and have always stayed with them even if all looks bad for some years now.
2) Asgard is our enemies or was, it's complicate this days when alliances and allies change.
3) Hard to say, we didn't had any things going on between our countries. I can't remember at least, but from what i have seen. Italy is in hard place geographically and it's must be hard for Italy, when strongest in the game wants your resources. Now when many things have changed and still are changing we would like to see Italy as our friends or even good allies, because of actions whats going on in eworld.

Malaysia - Monkeyboom Yau - MoFA

1) (1 and 2) Malaysia are currently neutral. and not plan to have any yet for time being.
3) We never have any contact to Italy. it is a good starting point to start relationship now 🙂

Mexico - Radamanthys de Wyvern - MoFA

1) As Allies we have really good friends it will be hard to choose. I would say: Chile, USA, Croatia.
2) No real enemies. I would gonna say maybe Venezuela and Colombia might be our natural enemies, but I would no consider them real enemies
3) Italy has been brave, is been fighting against Slovenia and Serbia for a long time, we believe it will be a great asset for Mexico allies, and we will give Italy support.

Montenegro - Petar Popara Crni - MoFA

1) Venezuela, Serbia, Romania.
2) Albania, USA & Malaysia 🙂
3) Sadly, only one PTOed country.

Netherlands - M. de Ruyter - MoFA

1) Our best allies are: China, and the Cro triplets (Cro/BiH/AL)
2) Don't think we have 3 enemies, but Poland occupies half our country, although we know have an agreement with them, so they pay at least the taxes they get from those 2 regions.
Hungary once tried to occupy too, but we kicked their but. XD
3) We consider Italy as a friendly and allied country.

New Zealand - Zastavnik Q7 - MoFA

1) As you know, there is major shifting between alliances. Now when TWO is gone, eNew Zealand looking for new alliance to settle. We fought hard for our allies, even harder when liberating core regions. Due to that fact, I must mention our 3 biggest allies(Argentina, Australia and Serbia).
2) Enemies we don't have, we are peaceful country 🙂
3) Regarding Italy, you are nice country in bad place 🙂 Your neighbor wouldn't be happy if you get 'independence' 🙂 eItaly do not have enough people to confront Serbia alone, so you completely depend on them. Even if you liberate your country somehow, it won't last long until something change. Good thing is that you can always hunt TP medals, since allies using your territory often for tactical RW's.

Norway - bATRA - MoFA

1) Sweden, Finland and Netherland.
2) Poland and UK.
3) We have a very neutral relationship with Italy.

Paraguay - Sgto. Nagato - MoFA

1) The best allies for Paraguay are Chile, and the next 2 are complicated to chose between Bulgaria, Macedonia, Mexico and Brazil.
2) Currently we don't have enemies in our borders, so our enemies would be the enemies of our allies. Our past enemies where Bolivia and Argentina (however we don't have any war between each other and in the mean time we are not interested in have some, so we see these two countries as neutral toward Paraguay) and there's not other countrie in our borders we can considere as enemy
3) We have almost non existent relations with Italy, so I would say we are neutral toward your country.

Poland - Thiocodin - MoFA

1) Spain, UK and many others 😛
2) Asteria 🙂
3) Few days ago we signed mpp, and that will improve our relations, for sure. Well.. in past few years we had bad relations, but the world is changing 😛

Republic of China (Taiwan) - slps - MoFA

1) To me, I'll say four 🙂 China which is no doubt, and Argentina, Colombia and Thailand
2) There's only true enemy to me, SK, but JP seem to be included in the near future if there's no change between our interaction.
3) Pretty good actually, we had an ambassador before, I remember his name is Atlius, and share some newspaper.

Romania - dsturzoiu - CP

1) Serbia, Greece, Argentina.
2) Spain, Poland
3) Italy had a lot of troubles through years because it was in Serba's way to get resources from Western Europe.

Russia - chugaystyr - MoFA

1) I think Russia have two great allies: Bulgaria and Chile. And third bronze and important place may take Finland, USA or Rep. Macedonia. We love them all!
2) It is awesome but we have no nodoubt enemy. Now it is Argentina. But i hope that this country do not need to see Russians as holy enemies for some next years because nothing (oh, fun). If Russia is free, then we love all the world!
3) We have very warm feelings about Italy RL. Since USSR till modern Russia. Ingame? No problems there 🙂

Serbia - TT Lighter - MoFA

1) Hungary, Slovenia, Montenegro.
2) Albania, USA, Spain.
3) I think eItaly is a small but organized community with a bad geo-strategic position on the map.

Slovenia - SmoothZiga - MoFA

1) Slovenia sees Serbia, Argentina and Hungary as our best allies in this game.
2) Its hard to say but I think that our biggest enemies are Croatia, Italy and Swiss. But lately there is a lot of hate towards Spain and also Poland.
3) Even tho we are long time enemies I dont feel any personal hate towards Italy. I think that Italy made some mistakes in past which made you our and Serbian enemies and for that have been long time occupied and because of that Italy became very inactive country. Maybe future will change things now that alliances are reshaping.

South Africa - Marmaduke IV - MoFA

1) Brazil, Poland, Spain.
2) Argentina, Turkey (Lazokrats), Uruguay
3) Neutral.

South Korea - asanstudent - MoFA

1) I think the best friendly country in eSK is eIndonesia.
2) The enemy country in eSK is eTaiwan and eChina.
3) Hmm....I think relations between eItaly and eSK is not friendly, but not also a enemy. But we're off one's mind because of the MPP between one country and eItaly.

Spain - Surf Legend - MoFA

1) Actually, the 3 main allies of Spain are Poland, Brazil and the UK.
2) The 3 countries that we really dislike are Romania, Argentina and Slovenia.
3) I love Italy, and everyone in spain loves you. You're a little country, but with strong personality. Back in our EDEN times, Spain and Italy were real friends, and when we leave the alliance, Spain keep Italy in mind. In this past 3 years that we've been in opposite alliances, Italy is the unique country in our natural borders which hasn't been attacked by us, and that's cause the old ones still remember the past friendship, and we're willing to retake it. HAIL ITALY!

Switzerland - Trogdorthetroll100 - MoFA

1) Belgium, Italy, Croatia.
2) Slovenia....that's about it. Constant wiping hasn't given us a chance to make other enemies.
3) Italy is great! The Swiss and Italians have enjoyed a long era of friendship and cooperation, showing that countries can work together even if their borders touch. We are glad to have such good neighbors to the south.

Thailand - Mystela - MoFA

1) (1 and 2) Your questions are very difficult to answer, because Thai has so many good friends & allies in this game & also, because of that, we don't really have any big enemies. I'm sorry that I can't be more specific than that. :/
3) I believe that your team is made up of a lot of rl Italians & that's great! I think that your geographic position is a difficult one to play from. I admire the fact that many from your team continue to push on in spite of this. I hope that with the "new divisions of power", however they turn out to be, that your team will have more fun & excitement in this game.

Turkey - tahaua - MoFA

1) For our citizens Argentina,Greece,Croatia+Albania+Bosnia and Ukraine.
2) Serbia Serbia and Serbia.
3) We are good with Italy all time. We fought for them at many battles. At the new term,i believe we will improve our relationship. Hi to all Italian people from Turkey. Btw,in there (Turkey) people call Italy "Christian Turk" 😛

Ukraine - Godart299 - Ambassador of Ukraine in Italy

1) I think our best allies and friends it's Turkey, Spain and Poland, but we have many other friends. We are open to anyone who is trying to improve relations with us.
2) I believe that our greatest enemy is now only Hungary.
3) I believe that with Italy we should have friendly relations. This is a good country with good players. We were friends back in Eden (Eden never die). Would like the relations between the two countries were friendly. Hail Italy! Hail Ukraine!

UnitedKingdom - Kravenn - MoFA

1) Poland - Spain - Lithuania (our relations with USA is great too).
2) France - Canada – Sweden.
3) Quite hard because UK and Italy weren't on the same side during these last years. But we are ready to know them more.

USA - Artela - MoFA

1) Traditionally Albania, Croatia and Brazil have been our closest allies, but to single them out is a little unfair as we now also have newer friends who are becoming just as close (like Poland and UK).
2) Serbia, and anyone who sides with Serbia 😛
3) We have been allied with Italy in one form or another for quite some time, and we support your battles when we can.


P.s. I asked to one person of each country. Some countries doesn't appear because i haven't received answer untill the date of pubblication (12/02). Maybe i could ask another, but i preferred don't do that for respect of the person which i have contacted before. Otherwise, in case I received 2 answers, I would have to choose for one of these and I didn't want to "hurt" anyone.

As you all can see, the relations between the eRepublik's countries are quite complicated and twisted. In the new order which will form with the new alliances, maybe old friends will find to fight against. I only hope this article can be useful for better understand what will happen in the next months.

I know that my english isn't very good... but don't pay attention to it and appreciate my effort 🙂 🙂
