[Fed] The Hits Just Keep on Coming!

The last several months have not been easy for the Federalist Party. We along with everyone else have battled the increasingly strong forces of attrition and apathy. Admin/Plato seems bound and determined to rush this game towards death and destruction. The much maligned meta community have spent years battling against the seemingly insurmountable e-laws of e-physics. If this were all we had faced we would count ourselves lucky. Unfortunately internal disagreements about the direction and mission of our Party have led to acrimony, in-fighting, and defections in increasing numbers. Many of those who were once a part of us along with Party outsiders that view us as part of the status quo appear to be revelling in our misfortune. To those who have left the Party in recent months: the Federalist Party thanks you for your past service and contributions to our community. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.




Boxing themed flicks in my opinion make the best sports movies. Strangely golf movies are a close second in my estimation. “Your daddy stared adversity in the eye, and he beat it back with a broom” may be the best line Matt Damon has ever delivered. The concept of taking all the hits that the world has to offer and fighting through it with a combination of grit, integrity, hard work, and determination has always resonated with me. Thus movies like Rocky (any of them except for the terrible Tommy Gun one), Cinderella Man, Bagger Vance, and the Greatest Game Ever Played have always struck me to my core.





We are bruised and we are bloodied. We have lost a great deal of voter share, more than a few dynamic Feds have headed for the exit, and it appears we have lost control of our national image. That is absolutely on the collective leadership of our Party. Mistakes have been made, a great deal of them by myself. However we have not been beaten. We are humbled, but also wiser for our recent ordeal. We will not only continue to work to grow the Federalist Party collectively and individually, we will redouble our efforts. We will continue to see ourselves as a responsible part of the wider nation. We will do a better job of outreach to our members. We will do a better job of showing the nation who we are and what we stand for. We will grind on as always.




On the positive side of things we are beginning to see progress. Due to the excellent work of IndexInfinity in recruiting we have stopped much of the bleeding and are beginning to see growth. This was his report today.

- We've had an increase in players for 7 straight days now
- We're actively hiring and currently exploring new methods of recruitment
- I'd be willing to talk 1 on 1 with any new or old fed with ideas and work on making them real
- Recruiting is looking at creating an automated assistant that new players can reach out to for any help

- 26-75 kills = 18 Q7 weapons, 150 Q5 food
- +76 kills = 30 Q7 weapons, 200 Q5 food





In addition to this plans are in the works to revamp and revive the temporarily shelved No Fed Left Behind (NFL😎, this program will help new players survive in the brutal economy that Plato has foisted upon us all, and will be designed to help guide the players it helps to further involvement in the community. New members need two things to stay active: a job and a friend. We will see that they get what they need not just to survive but to thrive. Every new player that joins this game is worth their weight in gold. They are an opportunity to expand and strengthen our dwindling community. We will work harder to do a better job of welcoming our precious newbs.





We believe that we have weathered the worst and are prepared to start hitting back. Those who are interested in helping the Federalist Party expand its media presence, step up recruiting and retention efforts, or beefing up SHIELD so that we can once more thunder our proud and horny firepower against the enemies of our great nation will be welcomed with open arms.
