Here in the United States, we’ve had a bevy of talent that has built a firm foundation for our community. Smart leadership has put us in the strong position we are in today. We’ve seen over the past month, with the resource wars, how the country can work together for a common benefit, despite our internal differences and struggles. These internal struggles can range from a petty spat about taxes, to who is put on congressional ballots, to outright “civil war” and blacklistings.

Yet, when it comes down to it, we can all work together in-game to make sure America stays secure and prosperous.

We must continue working together, sharing and cultivating creative ideas that will push our country forward and keep it competitive in a game whose base continues to dwindle.

Many will note that our last larger exodus of folks from the country came as a result of MAX TAXES. These tax hikes were deemed necessary in order to replenish the federal monetary reserve, which helps keeps our nation competitive on the battlefield. It was a tax that I voted for and I believed was warranted.

However, we face a new challenge in regards to our economy. Soon, companies will be able to up and move themselves from region to region, without constraint nor regards to citizenship. The only limiting factor is the cost of moving the companies. As such, companies will be able to fluidly change nationality based on tax changes, border security, and productivity bonuses.

I aim to make the United States a prime candidate where anyone in the world would want to set up shop.

Congress has already realized this new reality and taken the greatest step towards making our nation more attractive to businessmen. They’ve undertaken the process of cutting taxes from 15% to 1%, a change which I have happily voted for.

On top of this, the NSC team in charge of Resource Wars has done an excellent job and is on pace to possibly secure every resource bonus available.

This makes our country an extremely attractive option to anyone looking to do business. Full bonuses and low tax will make their company extremely productive, at a fraction of the cost of locating it somewhere else.

However, a 1% tax is unsustainable with our current budget. We’ll be running deep in the red and soon have a budgetary crisis as we liquidate our reserves to cover the losses. Taxes will have to be raised, and those companies we attract would easily leave our shores.

Therefore, I am proposing a new executive program under my administration to keep our economy competitive in the long-term. The Foreign Investment Rebate Program would aim to mitigate the cost of operating companies in the United States by offering a 50% tax rebate to anyone with foreign citizenship who decides to do business within our borders.

By doing this, we can offset the costs of operating a company within our borders, while boosting our our tax revenue with the flow of new companies. At first, this would create an effective tax rate of 0.50% for foreign companies, the lowest in the eWorld. However, it also gives us the leeway to raise taxes without fear that companies will switch nationality.

This will easily make our country the most attractive place to do business, while keeping our country’s bottom line in the black.

Just as well, the new tax revenue brought in by foreign companies means that we will not have to raise taxes nearly as high as they were before, in order to sustain our budget and build our reserves. This means that Americans will have to shoulder less tax burden than they did before.

On top of all this, it also helps our national security by increasing the world’s dependence on maintaining America’s full bonuses to keep their nation’s productivity at full efficiency. The alliance and the world will have a vested interest in the American economy.

So, in a changing world with a dwindling population, we must make use of what we have and the creative solutions to be found in the community. A Derpy administration will see to it that we build a more competitive economy that will sustain players now and into the future. It will be an administration that seeks to build up new ideas and foster new and existing talent.

With a Derpy presidency we will see:
- Lower Tax Burden
- A Sustainable Budget
- A Strong Reserve
- A Competitive Economy
- Greater National Security

All I ask from you now, is for your support. Together, we can realize a sustainable and competitive vision for America.
