We all have people we like in this game for one reason or another. I've always been an Israel Stevens fan.

Anyway, he contacted me two days ago. He must have heard somewhere that I was not planning to run for a second term as CP. And this is what I like about Israel Stevens - even though I am not in the same Political Party he is in, he got ahold of me and urged me to run again. Something in particular he said - a perspective only a former CP could have - stuck with me.

He's been following this past month closely; as one of my "President's Council" he's had access to basically everything. So he has a very empathetic view about what I'd accomplished in a month, and more importantly what I had not accomplished.

The one thing I wanted to see done, and done right, is the conglomeration of our military strength into a single Military Unit.

There have been a few bumps in the road to accomplishing this vision. I had literally given up on the idea of being able to see it through. Then along came Israel Stevens with his cogent arguments. He closed his thoughts this way:

"Please run for a second term, and give the USAF Transition the steady hand that it will desperately need." - Israel Stevens

And so at the last hour I have decided to attempt a second month as Country President.

I owe a few people a brief apology RIGHT AWAY. Several people asked me if I were running again and I told them "No" because I had only ever intended to do one and done. So...

Tyler, Pfeiffer, Artela, Aramec, Wild Owl, blondeninja, Oblige... I apologize. I really didn't think I was going to do this. But I've undergone a change of mind...

I'm running for a second term.

I've got some work to do immediately in setting up a second term of administration. Not everyone I've worked with this past month will be kept on, some will move into new roles, and I know a few who don't want to continue. I'll have some solid information about Administration soon.

Even more importantly - most importantly - I can begin re-envisioning what I had hoped to accomplish in March. This will be the project that will elevate eUSA's military strength in the international rankings.

But first there's an election to win. Again.

So America, once more I am asking you... Gnilraps for PoTUS!
