Hey there AMPers! I am coming to you today with an important announcement. I am running for President of the American Military Party.

So now, I would like to address the big parts of my platform.



Part 1: Strengthening the Ties between our party and the Military Units.
Now, people have often criticized me because I “MU hop” and “float around too much,” and don’t stay in one MU for too long. I don’t deny it, I’ve been in quite a few MUs. Off the top of my head, I’ve been in Rogue Squadron, Ultramarines, Air Force, Easy Company, US Army, US Airborne, US Training Corps, and even served a brief (like, two weeks or so) stint in The Legion, a British MU. One thing I have learned in my travels over the past two years is that all Military Units are different. I have been a part of 3 branches of the USAF under its former structure, and 3 branches of the eUS Military, and even all those branches within the same system were very different.
So what I want to do is strengthen our ties. Allow me to explain. When I go through the memberlist, I see that the AMP has members of just about every MU in the US. I see USAF soldiers, fellow EZC members, guys from the eUS Mil, Cannon Cockers, Anonymous, SEALs, Black Sheep, even some from SHIELD. What I want to do, is to make them not only an AMPer, or just a SEAL, but a combination of the two. For example, I do not consider myself and AMPer that just happens to be in Easy Company, or an EZC Soldier that just happens to be in AMP. Rather, I consider myself an EZC AMPer. I want every AMPer to feel this way. The AMP has an incredible amount of MU diversity, we should embrace it and celebrate it.



Part 2: Getting our members more involved
Its a sad truth, but this game isn’t looking so great. I believe the key to helping our party stay afloat in these difficult times is to get our guys involved, and keep them involved. I plan to do this in several ways.
-Getting newcomers more involved. Now this is often treated as something people say so as to not seem like an arrogant elitist. However, I legitimately mean this. I have been very impressed by a group of newcomers to the AMP forums, some who are new to the game, others who are just new to the forum. I want to get guys like these involved in the party. There are many ways that one can be involved in the party, and I want to help people see that. Whether it be taking on responsibilities as a RT Deputy, signing up to be mentored and learning more about the game, or just being an active poster on the forums, any type of activity is good activity.
-Keeping old players around. Now obviously, everyone has to leave the game at some time, and if they really want to leave the game, I guess there is no stopping them. However, I want to do my best to give them a reason to stay. In all honesty, I like the metagame much more than anything ingame, and I have a darn good reason. The metagame is something that we, the players of Erep, have created. It is free from the control of admins who, at the end of the day, are just trying to line their own pockets. It is entirely owned, operated, and contributed to by the players of Erepublik. And it is a beautiful thing. I want to make the metagame around the AMP so great, that it gives people a reason to stick around. There have been times where the only reason I didn’t quit this game was because I simply couldn’t help missing all the people I have met through the metagame. If there is no other reason for a player to stick around this game, I want them to feel the same way I did, until this game is updated for the better.



Part 3: Keeping our players “In the Loop”
This is a big part of being, in my opinion, a good party president. I want people in our party to not only know what we are doing, but why we are doing these things. You can expect an article from me, as Party President, at least twice a week. The Media department will also be publishing rather frequently, also twice a week if we can manage that. I also will keep my inbox open, and respond to any and all questions from our party members.
