Hello people! The PP election season is here again, with the AMP primary currently ongoing. This month’s candidates include Malarkey83, BeachBunny, and Lauren Ellola. I had the chance to ask each candidate a few questions leading up to the primary. Sadly, BeachBunny has been busy in the past few days in RL, if she does answer I will edit in her answers.

- What do you think the incumbent accomplished in the last month, and how do you plan on improving on that?

I think he provides steady leadership, but I would improve on that by trying to reinvigorate our party to move it in a positive direction. I have outlined some of my ideas in my platform. 🙂

- What are you're plans for a cabinet?

I would keep some of the more active experienced players, and look for newer ones who would like to actively help too, sort of a best of both worlds/dream team that can help me accomplish my goals.

- What plans do you have for the recently launched Education program next month?

I would like to keep Malarkey on board to run that. He is an experienced player and can provide good direction for new players.


- Lastly, why should AMP vote for you.

We have a lot of knowledgeable, reliable older players in our party, but I think doing something a bit different might give our party the boost it needs to break out of this rut. Some of the people I talk to seem a bit down about our prospects, and I am going to try my best to get them excited to be AMPs again. 🙂 Thank you sir.

- What do you think you accomplished in the last month, and how do you plan on improving on that?

There's always room for improvement but I think we accomplished a lot of good during my term. Education was brought back, Recruitment has done a nice job bringing in some active, young players eager to learn and help the party. I've been busy making improvements to the forums to encourage a more social environment for discussions. I started a Member Survey for AMPs to rate their Leadership team. The wiki for our party is being seriously updated. We sent 9 AMPs to Congress (7 the month prior). It's been a busy month but there's work left to be done and I'm ready to finish them.

- Do you plan on continuing with the same cabinet as your last term?

I'll be featuring some new Cabinet members while also retaining some in key positions. John Largo will be our PAC Director while Evry is away on a Christmas vacation. RegencyEra, you'll be taking over the Media Dept. and LordOther will be our new Retention Director.


- What plans do you have for the recently launched Education program next month?

I'll be looking to continue releasing information for the Education Department. There's good stuff there already including PowerPoints about using IRC, and starting out in erep. We have articles up about PTOs/ATOs and what they mean and an Introduction to the Missions. Beyond that though, I'll be looking to finalize the plans for a Mentoring program for new players so they get the information they need.

- Lastly, why should AMP vote for you.

Why should you vote for me? I have experience and the drive to get work done. I feel we had a good month of progress and with more time, I feel I can get us moving on the right track again. I've always believed in the concept of instilling the will of fire within the next generation of players. One day, oldfags like John Killah, John Largo and I won't be around anymore to play this game. Our legacy to the party is based on how we inspire those around us to be better than we were and to strive to make a difference.
