Winston Hope Smith and the Irish Niceness Challenge [Win Gold]!

Day 2,309, 21:32 Published in Ireland Cuba by Harrilal

So, although I will not be entering the competition, I figured I would still lead by example and do an article that would qualify (if I had not barred myself from entry).

Winston Hope Smith is a fellow that I know very little about. We do not interact much as we are neither in the same party nor the same military unit. However, I respect his dedication to his party and his country. Every week (or quite often, every few days), his paper is among the subscriptions that I most look forward to reading. He not only comes out with articles of his own, he also spotlights the articles of his his fellow party members.

He has a pretty decent record from what I can tell, which indicates that many in the country respect him and his opinions. Also, when I see his comments on various articles, they are usually quite interesting. I think it is safe to say that I agree with his character summary when he says he's an "All around good egg".

So three cheers for Winston Hope Smith.
An all around good egg.
You can read his newspaper here.

Bow Wow Wow Yippee Yo Yippee Yay! Ask Harrilal!
How it works: I take the first five (5) questions asked in the previous article's comment section and answer them however I see fit.

Lalo292 asks, "The best part of your newspaper is always that five questions, so now, if I told you that this paragraph is false, how would you answer to my affirmation?"

Well, if you believe that Ask Harrilal is not the best part of the newspaper (which is what you would be saying if the paragraph is false), then I have three things to say.
1.) I'm afraid that I can't please everyone.
2.) You are free to suggest something else for me to do.
3.) I think that you are just playing Devil's Advocate, which is cool. I think you actually believe the paragraph is true!

Anthony Colby asks, "If 7-11 stores are open 24 hours a day why are there locks on the door?"
I suspect the locks are for emergencies or to close up shop while police investigates criminal activity. I'm sure there are a slew of other reasons, but those are what immediately came to mind.

And now, since there are no more questions... not even barrel scrape questions, I shall go back to previous articles to find the first three unanswered questions.

John Gormley asks, "What is the world's longest song?"
As you know, I don't hit up Google for the answers to these... I have no clue. I know Jethro Tull has a song "Thick as a Brick" which is just under 45 minutes. "Les Troyens" by Berlioz is also pretty darn long, but I never know who considers grand operas as one long song or many little songs stitched together.

Of course, there are ALWAYS record hunters and whatnot, so I'm sure if I looked it up I'd find day, week, month and probably year(s) long songs. Perhaps you can tell me?

Daghdha asks, "Do you think VK and RTK will ever find a girlfriend ?"
Perhaps they already do have female (or male... I don't judge!) companions. If they do not currently (I doubt RTK's claim to be with your mom), I do think that they will eventually.

Releasethe Krakken asks, "Question 3😃o you have a problem with players whose sole purpose is to visit irish articles troll the authors and then report the writers if they respond to their trolls? What would be your suggested actions against such foreign trolls."

Interesting question. I would argue that one can engage with trolls without having reportable content in the replies. That said, if I was targeted for such a thing and somehow managed to be reported, I would likely take my concerns to the admins to try to sort it out that way. If I failed in that regard, I would simply ignore those trolls in my future articles.

And that’s five!
Remember folks! The first five (5) questions asked in the comments of this article, will be answered in my next article!
Thanks for reading!
