Comrades, Collogues and Citizens of eIreland

I have been honoured once again to have been selected by my Party, The Independent Labour Party, to run for Country President next election.



People who know me or remember my last two terms as Country President will know I am a safe pair of hands. I am a loyal servant of eIreland and will always put the well being of my county, the only country I have been an ecitizen of, first.

Why do I want to do the job again?
Well I believe eIreland has stagnated. Gone is the hustle and bustle of activity we once had. Gone is the competitive atmosphere we used to have between MUs or Parties. Gone are the official reports from Congress on its activity. Nearly gone one are the articles and polemics we once had. Gone is the accountability of the Executive where a poor performing CP or Minister could expect to be criticised in public.

I want to fix this and make eIreland the county of choice for players joining eRepublic and looking for a fun and vibrant community.

How will I do this?
There needs to be a policy change and it needs to be set from the top. As CP I always communicated regularly and openly with the citizens of this fine country. This I will do again.
I had a person, and if elected I will again, responsible for maintaining communication between the Executive and Congress. Prior notice should be given to Congress. Congress is not a rubber stamp and reasons and notice, where possible, should be given for upcoming votes. This I will do.
You will see a return of financial reports. Tax money is yours, eireland's citizens, money and you should have, you deserve to see where it goes.
Military we are in a bind with the UK also having a (nearly full) National Shield. This has had the effect that even if the UK wanted to return our Stolen Regions we could not get them. The status quo is set in place until this shield is gone. With this lull in hostilities we need to have a a National Dialogue on our direction as a nation in eRepublic. One thing that will return is the MU Commander Mass Message where Irish MUs will be kept up to date on military objectives.
In Community there will be a revamp and activity will start from moment, should I be lucky enough, I am elected.
Foreign affairs is most important and I would continue with steady progress
Education is also so important and the nurturing of our babies is a priority. This Ministry will have a direct line to all other Ministries and their requests will be given a priority.

We can change the direction of our beloved nation.


We can be a happy hive of activity again.

I don't say I have all the answers but I do have vision and, most importantly, I will listen to any and all idea wherever they come from.
