Why Radio? Why Not?

So yesterday I published the Radio article and I was suprised by so many of the people's answers.
Some said it would be good.
Some said were not ready for that yet. (at least I got that impression)
Some said it shouldn't be in the background playing.
I wasn't very clear on what I wanted in radio, there is a good reason for that. I just wanted to see the reaction.
My plan is that like the newspaper function every user (when they hit a certain level and it will cost gold) can have the option of making an hour long radio show.
Where they can talk about there campaign, there lives, and anything else.
