Who cheated in the election?

I would like to congratulate Katt on being elected and wish her continued success as CP. I would also like to thank all the people who voted for me and the nice PM’s I got from you. I sent out PM before the election asking people for their vote and promising to work on building more community activity and communication. I do not need a CP medial to do that, so will do what I said and produce articles, interviews, and contests regularly this month.

So, let’s start with voter fraud that happened during the election. There are not 72 individuals playing this game in Ireland. There are a lot of multis for different reasons. Some of our top tanks are the same person because he likes the war module so much, some people do not have the means to buy packs so they mine multi for gold and CC. I do not have an issue with this either. Some other people keep voter bots to influence elections. I have an issue with this and believe strongly in the principle of one vote one person. So, the question is who is it. First these four citizens are voter bots. They only logged in during the month to vote, not to work, train, or fight. 5 exp points the whole month.

This is what else I know about the election. The votes came in in spurts for Katt. About 10 hours from close I checked the results and I was ahead by 5 votes. Honestly I did not think I would win and had not asked anyone to help in any minister jobs, so I shot a PM to rusty asking him if he could continue to be MOF. It took a few minutes and I checked again and then was behind by 2 votes. Statistically speaking the odds of 7 voters, all voting for one canadite, in a short period, in an election that is almost 50/50, is a bit of a long shot.

So, I started to watch the screen that shows who is on line the day after the election. Machiavelli logged on and posted in the country feed yesterday at 18:30 eTime, then quickly a few more people who are not been active in years came on and off rapidly. I looked up the exp points graphs of a few of them on www.erepublik-deutschland.de and found another interesting pattern. All these citizens log on and work and vote every day this last month except for 5 the same days. Strange thing is they all took the same 5 days off as Machiavelli. More Mighty long odds that 8 citizens all come on at same time and take same days off game. These citizens are:

Machiavelli (log on at 18:30 eTime) only worked on 28-10 to 3-11

e-Kane (log on 18:38 eTime) gained exp points every day except 26-10 to 30-10

10.1.13.5.19 (log on 18:42 eTime) gained exp points every day except 26-10 to 30-10

John Smith 1882 exp points every day except 26-10 to 30-10

Dylan Rey exp points every day except 26-10 to 30-10

Sp1ky exp points every day except 26-10 to 30-10

Ulaidian exp points every day except 26-10 to 30-10

Jimmy_Soto exp points every day except 26-10 to 30-10


So, the facts I know are there were more votes in this election then expected. The votes came in a burst for one canadite. When Machiavelli logs on the next night a burst of citizens comes on at the same time. This same group also takes the same days off the game. Finally, Machiavelli stated today in a comment he “asked” a few people to come on line and vote. Some reason he even thinks that is funny.

“I asked at least 5 people to login and vote alone lol nothing wrong with it.”

My conclusion is Machiavelli used mutli he mines for gold to vote for Katt and that is why she won the election. These are probably old DC multi he gave to his mate. I have sent tickets into the admin asking that all these accounts be banned for being multis. I am also asking Katt not to include Machiavelli in any current or future governments, he is a cheater, and as a community that should not be tolerated.
