Whats with Asgard?

Has it sunk in yet that eCanada cannot seem to liberate itself if we remain solely with Asgard?

Ever since we left are big alliance behind we have been subject to invasion after invasion and this last one by the Spanish has endured.

eCanada was put into Asgard when we had no congress and we have only had one congress since we joined Asgard those many months ago and I believe we only got a congress the one time because of significant help from USA MU's.

There was a lot of talk of how Asgard is perfect and how we should go with a smaller alliance since we will matter in it, but as Chochi says,"Asgard doesn't matter."

Is it really so nice to be one of the bigger members in an alliance and to have a lot of say? Well yes it is if we were a superpower, but we are ranked 36th and if we are the biggest member in an alliance then it means we are in a pretty meager one.

Keeping Sweden, Finland, and Norway as friends is good, but we do not need to be in an alliance with them. They are stuck in a back and forth feud with more evenly matched contenders while we have Spain to fight. Being in Asgard locks us down and since the alliance does not want to formally move closer to any other alliance we are left to face a continued occupation with little back up.

Are current administration in its latest article has stated that it shot down any attempts to work closer or to potentially merge into another alliance. Why does out government oppose working closer with another alliance that could potentially get our country back? Well because they 'deem unnecessary' any such actions.

On top of this our governemt says that eCanada will cut back MPP's with strong nations to save money, yet we are forced by the Asgard constitution to sign a MPP with Norway, I think most would be hard pressed to find a more wasteful way to spend $10,000 CAD

It is time for a change of thought in our government just as it is necessary to rethink are position in Asgard and the other alliances.
