What is DyOnyx Gaming?

DyOnyx Gaming is a community for gamers. It is a place for gamers that currently do not have a community, to call “home”. In gaming, people like to have a place to keep up with other online gaming friends, a place to post in forums, post updates on their favorite games, achievements, and more. But not only that, people like to communicate using voice. That is where our Teamspeak server comes into play. Place to post on forums, view for events/updates, talk with your gaming buddies, etc.



How did you guys come up with the name?

The name basically is Black Diamond Gaming. While “Dy” is a misspelling of Diamond. And “Onyx” is the color black. We were going to go with DiOnyx but we could see how easy it could be mispronounced to “Dee-Onyx” so we changed it to DyOnyx. Diamond Black if you read it from left to right, however we again, wanted to be different and read it from the right to left, making it Black Diamond Gaming. Thus we created the name!



What is DyOnyx Gaming goals?

Our goal is simple. Have a place for gamers to call “home” without all the usual obligations, aggravations, frustrations, or even stress of other gaming communities. Many communities you feel left out because you arent donating enough, you arent online enough, you dont play their “main server” (the server that brings in the most income for them). Or whatever reason that gets you stressed out. This community is not about getting rich or making money. It is literally just a place to call your home, a place to chill, and share your gaming experiences with your friends or even better, make new friends!

Sure we will end up hosting our own gaming servers and such. However, our main purpose and goal is simply put, a place for gamers to call their “gaming home”.
