Truth be told, I never thought I would be in this position again. I felt like I had given everything I had, to my party. I thought that I was finished with party politics.
But then we were PTO’d.
And then we were abandoned.
In the span of two short months, we have been laid low. It is inconceivable to watch. The party that I helped build, with giants like Haliman, Kria and SVV is at a tipping point. If we continue down the same path that we have been, then we are only moving toward our demise.
Our Congressional delegation is small and not particularly influential. We have little to no presence on the National stage. We sit with some of the lowest membership we have ever had. What was once one of the most robust parties in the country has all but collapsed.
And internally, the mess persists. Our leaders talk about a Legal Council, while the party very literally burns around them. Where is the activity of the party? The leadership may claim to be active, but there is so much more to a party than it’s leaders.
We do not need a legal council. We need common sense.
We do not need active leadership. We need an active party.
We do not need more of the same. We need drastic change.
What we have been doing, is not working. I cannot say that forcefully enough.
This party is broken, and must be fixed.
I owe it to myself to once again give this party everything that I can. This party has done more for me than any one person ever could, and has always been one of the two or three things that actually mattered to me.
I am applying to the position of Party President, of the American Military Party.
We can be great again. But it will not be an easy task. Please support my candidacy for Party President, so that this party can achieve the potential that I know it has.

AMP id dead for months now, only thing keeping it alive are multis, Croatian and Albanian votes sent to keep if from being PTOed... It has no more than 10 active members and it's a fact.

It's pathetic how everyone thinks you can be " great again". You have no territories under your control, and four countries in top five of the world are ready to make sure that doesn't change for a while.
If we ever decide to let you have some territories back, it will be under our rules. In other words: you will either "play the agme" our way, or you won't "play" at all.

Not to disparage your incredible accomplishments with 7 countries attacking one. However, being wiped has very little impact on the game itself.
Actually, being wiped is helping us fight the PTO. Ironic isn't it. Your success is your failure.

Without self-govering results in economic collapse(no economy), hardens your communication and coordination. True, there are other ways you can coordinate, but it is still harder than it would be if you had self-govering.
If you think that we don't have many more undercover "agents" in there by now, you're naive. Why would we uncover one op up if that's all we have?

emmm, there is no economy in this game. MUs already had their people outside of the US.
There is not a statistically significant impact to government revenue nor to individual production.
What impact on communication and coordination do you think being wiped has? Zero really.
'Undercover' agents have only a short term impact -no long term impact at all. So -irrelevant.

When i say "economy", i mean you are forced to work for non-eamericans, you lost all bonuses and your production is disrupted.
Communication between your MU's is harder, which has an impact on coordination adn cooperation.
Depends on their mission. Their mission still goes on, one "agent" is revealed, but others are still undercover.
But we are not 'forced to work for non-Americans'. Check your game mechanics. And no. Loss of bonuses is also irrelevant. Overproduction is so high that bonuses just do not matter.
There is zero impact on intra-MU coordination. What are you talking about?
And no it does not matter what their 'mission' is. Again they have zero impact on the long term gain.
I am really sorry to break this to you Stari. There is very little impact of being wiped. What little negative impact there is is outweighed by the positive (that it hurts the PTO).
I know you want to believe that it matters but it simply does not.
if we just had higher import taxes, but American government will never allow that to happen, anyone who says the economy is broke does not understand capitalism, i am sad to be an American capitalist, in a country of other American capitalists who do not understand capitalism 🙁

You are wrong but I lack the patience to explain why stuff>gold and why it still holds true.
Regardless of that theory, you clearly do not understand why the economy is broken in this game. It is due to WAM overproduction and there is absolutely nothing that the US government or anyone else (other than admin) can do to fix that problem.
you say the economy is broke, i say it is responding perfectly to all my models of comparison. and therefore the economy is functioning perfectly. at its max!

I'm getting back into politics again because frankly where we are right now is absolutely pathetic.
Participation is always the key to better governance
This article trully makes me wonder if you have been paying attention to PDBs with your HRT access.
Also it's easy to point out a measure you might not agree with while there are other things being worked on.
