Trap, ban, or something else?
szekely ostor
Interesting things are happening on erepublik. Some want to take advantage of human weaknesses, I’m talking about greed at the moment. That's what I felt ..
But let's see what I'm talking about.
The 4760th day of the eRepublic coincided with 01.12.2020, which is also the day of IRL Romania, where a big part of the Romanian citizens celebrate the national holiday. Not everyone celebrates. Most Hungarians and Szeklers living in Transylvania do not celebrate. What would they celebrate?
On December 1, 1918, the „Great National Assembly” (of Romanians) took place in Gyulafehérvár / Alba Iulia . A total of 1228 delegates took part in this brainstorming session and voted for the resolution in Gyulafehérvár declaring the unification of Transylvania and the then Kingdom of Romania. 1228 deputies participated to vote on the Resolution of Alba Iulia, which sealed the Union of Transylvania with the Romanian Kingdom.
As an observation, no referendum was held to ask the inhabitants of Transylvania if they want to belong to the Kingdom of Hungary, the Kingdom of Romania or Transylvania to become an independent state.
I mention that until 04.06.1920 Transylvania legally belonged to Hungary. Since the Treaty for Romanians / Dictate for Hungarians - from Trianon on June 4, 1920, the border between the Kingdom of Romania and the Kingdom of Hungary is established.
This was a short description for those who do not know the historical facts, and I do not want to go into details because it has no place.
While celebrating the national day, a Romanian found time to send me acceptance of friendship.
So far no problem. There are other Romanian players in my list of friends.
The problem was in the morning when I woke up, knowing that I was full of energy and I had to look for an air fight, in which I would have a chance to get a sky hero medal.
Is this a new method of ban? Since I'm Szekler, and Szeklers are a subgroup of the Hungarian people living mostly in the Székely Land in Romania, and i don’t celebrate the mentioned day.
In the past it was the rule on erepublik, that from the weaker player you cannot accept donation, because you can be banned. This is how I know that this rule is in force !
Is this a trap?
On Romania's day, why would he, a Romanian, send me gifts?
Do you think he has remorse - because of historical past? Or trap? Coincidence? Am I exaggerating?
What is your opinion?
P.S.: I will send him back all the gifts!
Comments
mhm sounds strange... i wouldnt accept the gold and cc. did you try to write him?
Nope. Relatively this is a young account. I did not accept the donation, and I will send him back the things sent.
Az én fékem vót, fogadd el!
V!!
If there are boobs, there is a vote
küld át nekem tesim
Visszaküldtem neki. Nem bánoltatom magam.
"delegates", "deputies" means "representative". So, these 1228 delegates REPRESENTED the will of the vast majority of the enhabitants of Transylvania - Romanians.
By the way, please use " Romanians" with capital letter, as the civilized and legal way to write the name of a people or nation.
How can you say that, until the Trianon treaty, Transylvania belonged to Hungary, when Bela Kun's Soviet Hungarian Republic was crushed by the Romanian Army and even Budapest was briefly ocuppied by the Romanian troops from 06.08.1919 to 04.11.1919?
As for the received donations... I don't get it, what's the problem?
I don't want to comment too much on the historical aspects.Historians have written and will continue to write.
Some objective, others subjective.
In some romanian article appear "delegates" and in other "deputy" .... search the net in your native language and you'll see.
If I didn't use capital letters everywhere, it was a mistake. It's my fault, I take it, and I'll fix it. I had no intention of offending anyone.
I am writing because it belonged de jure to Hungary, as defined in the document signed in Versailles. Then the boundaries were set. De facto Hungary had lost it for a year and a half ...
Regarding the donation: What do you mean, what's the problem? If I accept, and he claims me and my account is banned ... Is it worthy? Isn't villainess?
"De jure" to which Hungary, to the abolished "Kingdom of Hungary" at that date, or to the crushed "Hungarian Soviet Republic"?
Yep, you should also report with a ticket that obvious clone.
This is very strange! I would keep the food and weapons. About the money and gold, it could be misunderstood. But... anyway, you have nothing to hide, isn't?
And thanks for telling us about the history of you and your people! That's one of the most interesting aspects of eRep: To met people from different part of the world and to learn from them!
You have my vote!!
Oooo some nice pictures up there 🙂
And not sure what was this exactly.. For example, my eWork here includes also help to new and returned players.. So I send stuff both to players lower lvl than mine, and few of those who are much longer eHere but were inactive for years, and also could use some push at their new start..
And all of this wouldn't be possible without donations from other players as well.
And regarding donations, I usually check if I get any donation from someone I don't know.. I either write a PM, or contact over Discord / Telegram if there is info on that acc profile..
But this are also sometimes players that are longer here, or some that came in past 2 years like me, but they got help for last Black Friday for example, and now they share extras with me or other players that need smth they have and don't need..
So not sure if accepting a donation from lower lvl player would have any impact.. In my case it doesn't..
But yes, best to check with the player, and is good you took screen shots and wrote about it..
Let us know when you find out if this was just and early Xmass gift, or maybe someone trying to mess with your acc so you get temp or perma ban..
And thank you also for the RL History part.
We learn something new here every day 😉
A romanok Furry-k most akkor?
Fene se tudja, de nekem ne küldözgessen valakinek a fékje semmit, nem akarom kitiltatni magam.
