Editor's Note: The monthly Congressional election is Monday. I sent a short general questionnaire to the leadership of all five Top 5 political parties. Let's see if we can tell any difference between them, or reasons to vote one party line over another.

Top 5 Parties in Review
by SecMed George Armstrong Custer

In order of their responses to my letter.

Black Sheep Party
BSP Party President Resoula

The Black Sheep Party has always put interests of every player before the interest of the top players. We want to make eRepublik as fun as it can be for the whole country rather than only those few that volunteer for the meta. In Congress we are known for lowering taxes, opposing the dictatorship, and supporting actions that will benefit as many eMerican citizens as possible. Vote The Black Sheep Party for Congress. In spite of the usual opposition we continue to fight for the best eRepublik experience for as many players as possible.

Socialist Freedom Party
SFP Vice President GonzoVeritas

Our party and our Congressmen are known for standing up for the little guy, not the cash laden whales. We push fair taxes and have worked to restore a real democracy to the eUSA. We haven't always been successful and we've caused some trouble, but that is how change is made. Now the SFP is growing fast, moving to the top tier, mainly because our message and the diligence and work of our members has resonated with players who are tired of the same old cliques running the show. We offer integrity and positive change.

United States Workers Party
USWP Councillor SColbert

USWP is the driving force of smart policy in Congress. While others would hold to baseless ideologies, USWP is more concerned with ensuring that each and every player can benefit from a fact based government. We'll always put forth the best candidates to represent the interests of the entire eUS, not just those who can afford to role play their current harmful fantasy. USWP is most known for our commitment to the advance of our country through the best policies that maintain our continued success.

Federalist Party
Feds Spokesman Melissa Rose

The Feds are notably the most active party in the game, having in addition to our forum a Party newspaper, our radio show on Beam, and several beneficial programs. We don't have a "Fed party line," per se-- we tend to vote the way we want and not in a bloc so our personal ideals show through. We are the most consistently active and well informed in Congress because we debate the topics personally within our own in game thread. Within our Congress list you will find a mix of old and new players which keeps our debate fresh with new ideas.

We The People
WTP Party President rainy sunday

We The People put the fun in dysfunctional. Just like so many other Parties, we do not have a PARTY LINE. We do have a PARTY HOLE though, so that's different.
Frankly, I love this Party and the people in it. I especially love those with independent thought and initiative. Comet Academy is a fine example.

War News

Fight for Ireland and for Spain. We are trying to return regions in order to focus full energies elsewhere.

Here's a nice followup to our involvement in Argentina's fight to be free of FYROM:
Thanks allies and friends/Gracia aliados y amigos(FYROM go home)
