Through the creaking door I see..

Day 2,376, 07:43 Published in United Kingdom USA by Charlie Silverhand

I saw a world, a utopia. A world so familiar yet so unknown. I awoke to find my passport stamped, stamped of travels I couldn't recall.

I was now directed to check my mail, through which a strong voice came through, the voice assured me of living in times of peace but warned me of wars to come. The confidence the voice showed in predicting the future I've only seen from a physician diagnosing a poor soul.

This poor soul was directed to a fitness instructor who deemed me fit and then and there a man came with a set of uniforms, for now I realized I was in the army. They promised me rewards and enticed me with promises of a healthy meal and gold as well.

Its only been a day since waking, yet I feel as though a thousand has passed, my heart heavy with the screams of the people I have killed. I survived the day and they did not.

I retired to my tent, the promised meal waiting, I grab this sheet of paper and believe that through this my story will be remembered. For I am, I was and shall always remain - Earnest.
