Things such as Congress! Competition! Schemey doo-dad!
What a scintillating few days it has been!
First, Congress
My first time as a congressman has been everything I thought it would be. Rubber-stamping executive decisions and watching petty arguments in the group message 😛
Ah just kidding, our congress-people are valiant, noble legislators aren't they?
My voting history is as follows:
Change work tax from 1% to 15%, proposed by Longshotzz
I voted yes because I thought work tax affects richer players more as they have more factories, and it fitted into my socialist ideals. The vote did not pass (not by a longshot 😛
).
Then a weird proposal to change the import tax on iron (a commodity that no longer exists), also by Longshotzz. I voted no. It did not pass.
Then an issue money proposal by Norris Bush (obviously a rogue proposal), who is from, surprise surprise, Dapper's godawful 'party'. I voted no, it did not pass.
Then a bunch of MPPs
Argentina, I voted yes, it passed.
Croatia, I voted yes, it passed.
Romania, I voted yes, it passed.
And lastly ... Bosnia, I voted yes, it passed, blahblahblah, but this one was controversial. Basically MPPing Bosnia is a big middle finger to Serbia, our long time ally. However since TWO broke up Serbia want nothing to do with us, tanked against us with the Canucks and basically want nothing to do with us any more, so screw them! 🙂
And finally we NE'd Sweden, it passed 35:0, woooo!
Competition time!
I love my unit. Yes I'm getting soppy in my old age, but it's not like this is the first unit I've been in that's good. I was in the legendary 1st armoured division, the weird and wonderful 7th armoured division, the short-lived but intimidating ultra-militia, but Funky is better than all of them.
The reason is simple, Funky is just chock full of real nice people! And we kicked ass in the competition, so a heartfelt thank you to everyone who fought, and yah-boo-sucks to all you losers, ah just kidding you're all right 😃
Aaaaaand finally!
My licckle scheme for to make the mines! Even though people were busy spending all their money on tanks some still managed to contribute, and our grand total of mines built is now 21!

Good article, it's nice to know, what's happening in congress, but I thought the work tax came off the amount received by the worker not added to the amount paid by the employer?
It does, but work tax is also paid by factory owners for every factory they work in. So a poor newb pays it once for their job, but a rich oldfag like me pays it over 100 times, once for every factory I work in

This is the UK not the USA why make my eye hurts will them 2 clowns
just wanted to go with a doge-meme theme and google image search for 'doge politics' that picture was the only decent one that erep could actually load, my previous choice was one of Boris Johnson, I also find those two clowns amusing hence the fit with the meme, lastly because it has the words 'nice medal' which was appropriate seeing as I had recently acquired a medal. Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
