The upcoming CP-election
Sinon
Hi everyone!
I was supposed to write this article earlier today, but got distracted by the civil war in Australia...
I'm a goddamn army all on my own o_o
Anyway, you may have noticed that I am aiming for CP the coming term. Well, it turns out that things won't go as smoothly as we had hoped... Both the SSG and CtG have promised me their support in the elections, along with VAN and SOS-brigade.
However at the same time the TLS and DNP have decided to take on their own path, supporting Ouibster from the ISP. This means that they have decided to support someone who hasn't been part of the coalition government, doesn't know about anything that hasn't been released in articles and that has little to no knowledge about or experience with those who have worked for months now in the government. In addition they have yet to explain their reasons behind their actions. So I myself am wondering, are their aim to improve our nation, or to break it apart again?
Now, I will not accuse them for anything or say that their actions will be a threat to all the hard work done for these past months, but I can definitely say that if Ouibster gets elected and the consequences turns out badly, then the TLS and DNP should claim full responsibility.
Now, this is the cabinet as I have thought it out to be, though some positions are still empty and those reserved for parties that has yet to be filled, will be open for other parties to aim for one week after the election has ended.
Cabinet:
Prime Minister - H E X (SSG)
Minister of Foreign Affairs - Masaharu Homma (SSG)
vMoFA - Synhro (SSG)
Minister of Defence - Jeti Shumadinac (CtG)
Minister of Finance - Hideyoshi Nicolas (ULJ)
vMoF - (CtG)
Minister of Social Affairs - Watan Tanka (TLS)
vMoSA - Eboshi Gozen (SSG)
Minister of Culture, History and education - Nanashi Senshi (ULJ)
vMoCHE - Stargasior (ULJ)
vMoCHE - Poco Curantism(VAN)
vMoCHE - Nyx Lynx(VAN)
Ministry of Immigration and Recruitment - (DNP, CtG, TLS, SSG, ULJ)
Some changes from what I have presented to the current government are that Synhro will be vMoFA, the TLS have lost their chance for a MoE as they were supposed to get that position in exchange for their support, leading to the MoCH and MoE once again being merged together, the DNP never gave me an answer regarding a minister to the MoIR, and as such I have decided to let all the top 5 parties get the chance to have one representative each in the ministry on equal terms.
As for what I will aim for as your CP, well first of all I am participating in a process where we may become one of the founding members of an alliance with countries we can trust. The preparations are nearly done and more or less the only hindrance is actually the CP-election.
In addition I will have focus on our relations with Russia and the RoC, to build up our relations further and try to regain our two northern regions through diplomacy, or at least work out a renting deal with them so that we can raise our taxes and get more money to improve our finances.
I will also create the Ministry of Immigration and Recruitment for two reasons; 1. to better secure ourselves against possible PTO-attemts, especially through dictatorship, and 2. to become a more attractive nation for people with interests in our community.
So now I have done my part before the election. The rest is up to you
😉
Yours truly!

Good luck, SSG will support you. We don't want to see our nation broken, we need a reliable, hard worker CP next month. About the TLS/DNP decision... I don't know what to say, their decision is just unreasonable.

First of all, good luck...
however
"Now, I will not accuse them for anything or say that their actions will be a threat to all the hard work done for these past months, but I can definitely say that if Ouibster gets elected and the consequences turns out badly, then the TLS and DNP should claim full responsibility."
these are poor choice of words. not classy at all. can you guarentee that in case of your presidency everything will turn out perfect? it is a damn game where rules get changed as plato wishes. if you wanna keep the work that is in progress now to improve through next term then you could just say that whoever does not get elected should help the elected president. that would be classy (of course if you really mean it).
So relax and enjoy the game...
I cannot guarantee that everything will be perfect. But I can guarantee that things will work out to a satisfying extend and that the government will be working hard to achieve positive results. And what I fear the most is that everyones work will be for nothing if Ouibster wins.
Believe me, I wouldn't have any problem with having him as CP if he had notified me beforehand so that I could've helped him out with the preparations. But that's the thing, he hasn't and there's nothing that would suggest he has any plan or knows anything about what we've been working on lately. I just don't want to see our nation fall apart again after all we've done together as a unified nation...

this should clearing some of the questions?
*should help clearing...
I have an immense respect for you metehan, so don't misunderstand me.
While it's true that there are no promises of a guaranteed success of each of the candidates, what's not classy is abandoning your former coalition 2 days before the voting without any prior notice.
I understand the frustration of a broken coalition on a short (or none) notice but the reaction should not be a public attack. Cant forget the fact that those two parties were part of that coalition who won back to back elections and they should have some credit in all the works that were done in those terms.
Therefore, when Sinon says everything the coalition accomplished so far might be doomed in case Quibster wins, that can be interpreted as part of the coalition believed TLS and DNP had no credit in any of the accomplishments in which case TLS and DNP would have every right to end their affiliation. That is why I said they were poor choice of words. It just does not sound good.
I have not talked to neither TLS nor DNP and I do not know why they did not support the coalition candidate but such discussions should be done in private (and they have a right to keep silent too). Public attacks like this never helps anything and that much I can guarentee 🙂 It justs pushes them further...
Thanks for sharing your views and concerns regarding my article Metehan. It helps me a lot to see my own wrongdoings and if Ouibster should ever feel offended by my article, let me know and I will apologize to him directly.
When it comes to TLS and DNP it is wrong to say they had no credit whatsoever. It is true that they have failed more than any other party in the coalition, when it comes to active and trusted candidates in the ministries, however they were still a major support to making the coalitions possible in the first place, and that's what I respect them for. They did, however, break my trust and especially the TLS hurt me a bit personally when they left without any warnings beforehand. That may also have influenced my article, giving the wrong expressions and I apologize for that.
relationships can change in a positive or negative way in this game quite fast especially because of miscommunications and misunderstadings. writing and talking unfortunately not always the same... it is important however, not to completely destroy the bridge and just leave it damaged to repair later 😉
no hurt feelings from our side. i am sure TLS and DNP would also somewhat agree to that...
Good luck Sinon!
woo I am in the cabinet? 🙂 Yep will vote for you lol
Culture, History and Education.... here I come!

What else PTO can happened here?
+V
+Good luck
Old fashioned PTO could also happen, sans dictatorship module.
We are a small nation that depends on unity to fight old-fashioned and new types of PTO-attempts. However at the same time recent events have shown that our unity is still quite weak. Because of this it's not really necessary to spend 200K cc on a PTO-attempt in eJapan, but I want to change that.
Good luck😁
