Usually they hire comedians to host award shows like these, but tonight, instead, you get me!

So let’s get this show on the road. Our first presenter is a Hollywood legend whose boots Ricky Gervais would not be fit to kiss…The wonderful…Mel Gibson…*whispers off-stage*…Sorry I guess Mel is attending some National Socialism Association dinner and is giving a speech about Jews – or something like that…anyway…on with the show!
(Standing ovation)
(nervous laughter)
Our first award, the Best Player Award, is one many strive for…mainly to feel significant but tonight’s contenders – well most of the contenders are nothing like that. This man truly deserves this…the winner is H.Nelson! He left the others in the dust with 55.6% of the vote!
“Doesn’t he look dashing?”
The next award, the Best Rookie Award, one of which your wonderful host *cough, cough* came in second for *cough, cough*, anyways…this award…this award…
This award was fiercely contended for, the Best Publisher Award. It came down to two players, H.Nelson and Dartreal. In the end, H.Nelson was able to pull ahead and is this month’s best writer! Congrats!
The Best Fighter Award is one that I am really looking forward to. And after all of your votes, the winner of the Best Fighter Award is……… none other than Savonrepus! Well done!

Uhhhh I really need a drink...I should have won that d*mn award. This hosting stuff isn’t what I thought it would be.....What? What do you mean my mic is on? Sh*t! Annnndddd we’re back! Sorry about that folks.
This next award is the Best Military Unit Award. The competition for this award was ferocious! Back n’ forth, back n’ forth and we now have our winner…and the winner of the Best Military Unit Award is…by a thin margin…the KnightHawks! Felicitations!
Our subsequent award is the Best Political Party Award! It looked like it was going to go to the ANP at the beginning but as time went on things became to get really close. And in the end…the ANP pulled it off! Congrats! Wait…what? Oh, sorry guys. I’m extremely sorry. I read that wrong…and the award goes to…the Australian Independent Party!!! Give a ‘hear-hear’ to the AI Party!
Next is the Most Noob-Friendly Player Award. Flatty nearly won this award and had a great chance as a write-in…but…due to many skipping the question...or writing in DocterDry for every single category…the winner is…Paul Hamon! Congratulations Paul!
And for our final award…the Unsung Hero of Australia Award. This was a last-minute addition to the list of categories and was the closest contest. Many voted for themselves and in the end…O-M-G…it was a tie! This is such a surprise! And the winner-s are DocterDry and Miss Wolf! Congrats to the both of you!

I was, but then I noticed that people were skewing the results. I had to scrap some people's survey results because all of these people began to vote DocterDry for everything that had a write-in area. It was clear to me that things were beginning to turn from an award show driven by reader participation into something like a campaign.
