The readers have spoken in the survey I recently ran. Thank you all for participating, it was most useful.

A good newspaper...

Almost all of you think Het Parool is a good newspaper, which is much pleasing.
The newspaper is especially welcomed for it's interesting interviews and political news. It's serious topics and news from the Netherlands are also indicated as important reasons to read Het Parool.

...with room for improvement.

The sober lay-out is an issue though, as well as the newspaper being in English.
Up to 73% of the respondents would like to see more photographs. 65% would prefer articles to be at least in both languages (Dutch and English).

There was also a strong indication for semi-naked women and more games and jokes.

The same, yet changed.

To better cater your newspaper needs, I will test some changes. A more modern lay-out with pictures, graphs, ..., will lighten the serious content you have come to know and love this newspaper for. Guest editors are most definately an option.

Articles will be in both languages whenever possible.

Now and then an issue of Het Parool Weekend will be printed, with a more entertaining content.
