The New World and DSP Need You!

Day 2,337, 23:06 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by J.R. Neumeier
Dear New Comrades,

I and eRepublik have had quite an interesting history. Over the course of my life, I suppose I have seen this game transverse since around day 600, making myself in all actuality 5.5 years old on this game, however rather off and on. Anyways, let's stray from personal anecdotal remembrance of my youth. Here's what you need to know to get leveled fast and achieve sustainability in this game...

Steps to Succeed Early:
1. Follow the damned tutorials! They give wonderful rewards, and most importantly help you go through the motions that an everyday New World Citizen goes through, except more so on a quarterly-daily basis as opposed to a daily basis.
2. Fight. And Fight alot. Fight like a dog. Remember those tutorials? They should give you weapons sometimes for doing cool military stuff. This military stuff will help you fight better and thus level faster. By doing these tutorials as they come, and not doing anything else outside of them, and continually fighting with the rewards you get, you should be able to fight and fight and coast well into level 19 or even level 20... easily. Every time you level, you get an energy refill and 20 more energy capacity, which means more hits in combat.
3. Now that you are excited about how much features you've unlocked in just a simple hour or two's of playing, it's time for a reality check. Apparently in this anti-feminist world, muscles is a requirement as the game requires you achieve 50 strength in order to enjoy the features you so earnestly earned from leveling up so many time. So... just do what you can, and wait your time to use the gold exchange, or run for country president. Nonetheless, you can always still subscribe to a newspaper (like the Democratic Socialist), or join a political party, such as the Democratic Socialist Party (DSP), however it seems the only way to do this is by clicking on my name, and finding the DSP that way, as big-party protectionism only allows the 'bigger' parties to have public listings.
4. Spend your gold wisely, you only earn so much so fast, and you really don't earn it fast after level 20 unless you're dedicated, and not even I have figured out that one. Your best bet after being really smart and cunning with what gold you have is buying gold from the starter pack (at a nice price of 4.9 Euros), or some other package which is bound to be less of a deal. I'd recommend if you plan on spending a little money on this game to get the starter pack while you can. 🙂 With the gold you should have by leveling, you can start your own newspaper, and still vote and support other newspapers. They might even help support yours if you message them terms of friendships!
5. Make friends. The are instant access to people who apparently 'know' you. Which are great for simply political support, and thus if you have political aspirations, someone who will vote for you.
6. Join the DSP if you are ready to be political and ambitious, and here's why...

The Democratic Socialist Party is happy to take new recruits and show them the new ropes through whatever means necessary, especially messaging via mail (in-game). Being a small party so far, this means that newcomers will be in an amble spot for power once the party gets afloat. There will be rewards for helping the rising of the power, through increasing membership through recruitment advertisement, or contributions to the success of the party as recognised by the DSPP (DSP president). Don't be just another one of the sheep who join a mass political party and feel as if they have nothing to contribute but a single vote... in the DSP, you contribute one single vote, but one extremely loud and potent voice in how the DSP will be governed as a party and in the future how it governs the nation.

Message me, add me, friend me, subscribe to me, and join my party the DSP, and I promise to love you forever! Let us navigate this 'New World' together, and make a better future for eU.K. with an idealistic vision for our country!

Struggle and Prosper! ~
J.R. Neumeier, the Democratic Socialist Party President
