The Irishman Returns
Brian Boru
Irishmen and Irishwomen of good will, I ask that you support me once again for the highest office of our Republic, this coming Tuesday.
Our country is in peril, as always.
It is at peril from the continued decline of the world economy. The Monetary Market is at an extreme low, company profits and communes are struggling alike, and many of our allies are also facing financial problems. Through this storm, I have kept Ireland afloat, ready for the next step to progress. The admins will eventually be forced to act by the state of the world economy, and Ireland will be ready and waiting.
Our country is also at peril from within. Two rival factions have brought this country to the edge of civil war, and both have used highly illegal tactics to do it. While I may not be able to stop the war entirely, I have curbed the worst of the problems this term by issuing a clear line from government that such behaviour is unacceptable. Ireland is not a playground, personal vendettas are not to be played out on the political stage.
Lastly, our country is peril from the outside, not because we have enemies, but because we lack strength and the ability to build upon it. I showed the Irish people the two roads before us, that of joining the Circle of Trust and that of remaining independent. Other roads may open before us, but the people made their decision, and I shall follow it.
So why vote for me?
Of the current Presidential candidates, I am by far the most experienced, even if you don't take this term into account. I have served as Minister for Finance and Minister for Foreign Affairs. This means I bring my skills to an already competent diplomatic and financial team. The next term will once again be dominated not by war, but by diplomacy and management of our resources. This means my skillset is exactly what Ireland will need.
Not that I lack military skill either. I have founded or been involved in many military organisations, such as the Irish Volunteer Force, and the Irish Citizen Army. I was the first to propose massive military reforms, a proposal that eventually lead to the foundation of our glorious Irish Army.
A vote for me is also a vote for greater democracy. Via the institution of the Senate, of the Committee for Immigration, of use of referendums which adhere to true democratic principles, and of further discussion with Congress, we have a real opportunity to involve people. This will be expanded by an extension of the Senate to yet more citizens, and the greater involvement of Congress in decision-making, while maintaining strong governmental leadership.
Lastly, a vote for me is a vote to stand up against the bullying and faction fighting that has once again brought this country to its knees.
I will not accept voter intimidation.
I will not accept Political Takeovers.
I will not accept faction fighting.
Tomorrow, I will outline more specific policies, but for now, go raibh maith agat as léamh.
Brian Boru

Not tolerant of racism either there Padraig lol
Looks like kunts have their own favourite.
I'm trying to guess why since nothing significant haven't happened this month, and it should happen...
Good luck!
I for one approve of this communist PTO.

1. We went from 11 mpp to 4 during this term (almost down to 2 if the MoFA had it his way)
2. We went from 10 Q7 weps to 4 Q7 weps for Irish Army and cut bootcamp funding during this term
3. The logic for the cuts was to help restore our finances - let's see if Appleman can publish the treasury report to see if the moves you made saved us or put us into a worse shape.
4. Referendum held over and over by your MoC and the voters selected to go to ASGARD -some reason this is ignored and a referendum to join CoT is put on the table.
5. You ran on supporting our allies in their wars to build bridges but then cut all of the mpp's we had so we could no longer set DO to help them. Your MoFA voted AGAINST the Canada MPP....
Since those were the only real things that happened in this term.. I hope people base their votes on that finance report from Appleman and the fact that actions speak louder than words.
First terms get elected by hope of people for something better - second terms NEED to be elected on what they did during their first term... not more promises.

1. We have very little cash, and our allies have very little cash.
2. We have very little cash.
3. We would have exactly zero money in the bank if we had continued with 10 Q7.
4. Asgard would not have us.
5. I did support our allies to the greatest extent possible without endangering the country.
So asecondchance, you would bankrupt the country, hold a referendum for an alliance that would not let us join this month, and let TWO invade us?
We're in a state because of the robbery and because of the alliance situation. All we can really do is wait, while keeping our head above water, until the game situation changes for the better.
//All we can really do is wait, while keeping our head above water, until the game situation changes for the better. //
Sounds like it would be another really exciting month if you win...at least MM and others are putting proposals to try stuff... not just wait for admins to fix which may/may not ever come.
Asecondchance, what part of "the country's been broke for months" have you got a problem understanding? What are you going to do, take on the British Army and TWO with your hurley?
Also not sure how you can say your team did all they could to support our allies: http://prntscr.com/rbyut
Your own MoFA did not vote for Canada MPP!!! He should be removed immediately or it is just showing you have no respect for our allies. You as CP are ultimately responsible for your staff actions since y7ou appointed them.
Broke for months yet managed to maintain 11 mpps until this term.... so what have you done ?
I'm fairly sure our MoFA voted against the Canadian MPP because you illegally negotiated with Canada to have it proposed, without the Government's consent, while our negotiations with Croatia and Bulgaria were ongoing.
We could afford more MPPs before because even if we were broke, the MM was better and we also had a Croatian loan to use.
i.e. you circumvented the MoFA, and he didn't like it.
"you illegally negotiated with Canada"
Canada is one of our closest friends and since I started here have had 2 Training Wars with us. Opting to not back them as they fight with Spain would have been a bad move. asecondchance did what was best for the Ireland, some day in the future we may need help and had we refused to take an MPP with Canada now, they wouldn't jump to help us.
Also answer the question "Broke for months yet managed to maintain 11 mpps until this term.... so what have you done ?"
"I will not accept voter intimidation.
I will not accept Political Takeovers.
I will not accept faction fighting."
And then Boru stand in defence of Kunts......
Boru you are spinelss kunts lover just like that cryfag with waffles...
You and cryfag were the only one counting the votes and your clear love for kunts makes you copromised.
You referendum was a joke and yu even didn't have gutts to forge results as you planned.
I claim it was 90% voting against CoT and that was toomuch for you to forge coz you got scared humans will not buy your lie...
Be honest for once and openly join kunts......
And the worst thing you have nerves caling yourself an irish.....
Hmm. What is the country in peril from? I don't see any threat from external forces, no threat of invasion. As far as internal divisions are concerned, you have about 10 people who proportionally take up more space with their egostatistical bullshit mantra than the rest of the country put together. The only threat I see is one of intense boredom, circular arguments and non-stop trolling. As this is self-inflicted, you only have yourselves to blame.
Sorry, truth hurts.
😁😁😁

some are trying to help Ireland but a few are doing their usual work.
Times are tough for all country's not just Ireland, everyone is in the same boat, daily income from tax is shrinking as a result of this reduced daily tax take, we need to adjust our spending like everyone else and Mpp's & free weapons (IA & Bootcamp) are the primary source of expenditure we have.
To dip into our cash reserves - (which we are using to make a meagre return on the Money market), would be foolish and leave us in a worse situation next month, we can't spend what we don't have and until income improves austerity regretably is the only way to ensure we will have resources available when conditions improve.
voted. GL
D and T....this is Ireland and irish crap....you go and sell your crap to india.
You active support of selling Dublin to brits speaks where your loyalty is...and its not Ireland.
You are a picture of douchebag...
And that are facts D and T....
asecondchance for president!
We have somebody linked to domestic PTOers
We have somebody that corroborated with British PTO'ers and took part in his own PTO's
We have somebody who seems all title no merit
And then we have Boru.
Think I'll go with Boru.
And lol at the sudden criticism on MPPs & MUFC agreeing to it. Recall calling on MUFC to open discussions on MPPs during his term as CP as I was concerned then on what we could afford. Believe I was ignored by MUFC & cut down by his MoFA Nataliaa.
Elite C, I had every intention of signing an MPP with Canada. Regardless of how my MoFA used his vote as a protest, I personally voted in favour of the MPP as well.
The Senate decided on a list of MPPs, Canada included, that we were to sign. The priorities were Bulgaria, Croatia, and Argentina, as they are our most powerful allies. That makes perfect sense for our defence. Bulgaria and Croatia have financial problems, so they didn't sign. Argentina was good with it, so we signed. Canada and Finland were the very next countries on the list, so either way we would have had MPPs with them regardless.
And that's without asecondchance thinking he's some sort of vigilante hero.
i wonder if brian boru uses his own money or state money to buy votes for his articles? And dont deny you buy votes. I saw with my 1 article you were at 4 votes with your article(previous one) withing 30 minutes you had 100 votes. So your own money or state money?
if you use state money atleast have the decency to do the same favor for our other candidates. 😃
I have no intention of denying that I buy articles.
I find the service to be very useful in getting my articles to the top quickly, I like knowing that my articles are guaranteed to be seen.
But no, I don't use state money. I don't even have access to the treasury, I don't need to have such access when Appleman and Nogin are doing stellar jobs.
personally I think Brian has done a really good job this term. the financial environment that the whole New World is in right now explains our own funds - incompetence wouldn't be a plausible explanation even if it were true when you think about eRep govt budgeting.
The Senate has been a really great feature of this months government, the pto incident was well dealt with, and the survey on joining CoT was on the ball.
There are several good candidates in this months race, but there's really nothing available to tear Brian down with.
