Rory Gallagher - I fall apart
Suggested by Frommfilm & Clownprince. Hadn't heard much of this guitar legend from Cork before going on a youtube splurge. This song is from his first solo album. To me this song really seems comes from the heart and the performance is amazing.
Sinead O'Connor - Famine
First song of hers I ever heard when my parents used to listen to her.... passionate.

Awesome video and song from the limerick lads
Cyclefly - Supergod
Two brothers from Midelton, Co. Cork along with French and Italian members created some fantastic rock for awhile. Were famous enough for a feature in the Independent at one stage.... maybe due to touring with Linkin Park.
Rest - Rest go pop
Cork post-rock band (maybe not from cork but gigged there predominately) from their EP Burning in water, drowning in flames.
Cathy Davey - Mr. Kill
Lisa Hannigan - Lille
Mercury music award 2009 nominated artist.... need I say anything else!
