Guess you were wondering when I'd get around to some Metallica. Time seemed ripe. As you know, I try to find something suitable for the topic of my article. I reprint the first verse above because I believe it is poignant.

Well, I'm all holed up in my home away from home. Finishing up some talks with folks and getting ready to start the group PM to organize this little party. As you can see there is already some CO money in the account. Keep in mind that big red button will suck 200k off the top. My good friend Lansizzle is sitting in Canadian Pickles and will use what is there in the first round(s) for CO, then everything will be up to me.

We didn't have those when I was in school.
They either whooped yer ass right then and there or if it was serious enough, they'd send you home for a couple days. Believe me, when you actually got back to school you didn't want to leave. 😃

I'm old enough to remember the corporal punishment.
They still do Corporal Punishment in some states. I had it in High school instead of having in-school suspension. That was in 2008
Pffft. My 6th grade teacher had a paddle that looked like a flat baseball bat with 1" holes drilled into it. After he whacked you with it and you stopped dancing around, he would give you a sharpie to sign your name on it.
I imagine that he is a good 15-20 years retired now, and somewhere in his den/mancave is a wooden bludgeon with holes drilled in it with multiple copies of my signature on it.
