The Caliphate

Day 2,390, 00:51 Published in Pakistan Pakistan by kualkerr The Warrior Poet

After ever year or two, there always come a cycle in smaller countries of eRepublik, such as Pakistan, which is marked by stagnation, inactivity and hibernation. This usually is a period in summers where masses are busy with exams or vacations or other RL obligations. From what I have seen over the years, this period is boring, aimless and monotonous. Elected CPs just run, get the medal, lay low and walk off at the end of the term.

Today is the day that, with no exaggeration, concludes such a presidential term which had the potential to be justified as 'transitional' and any common CP would simply sit tight, made sure that things don't go any worse and walk off at the end of it.

But one man had too much conviction and panache to acquiescently lurk into this transitional obscurity and walk off at the end of a meaningless period; no strings attached. One man went beyond the crippling condonation and clichés, stood up against the apathetic monotony and gave us the spectacle which should echo inside our hearts like a wake up call.

Ahsan A.K.A TheCaliph, I congratulate your on conclusion of one of the most difficult presidential term ever to befall a President in ePakistan's history. The successful (training) war with Iran out of no where was a massive achievement which may ignite the reincarnation of the Nation which has gone numb.

Personally, I always found you to be a rational person with whom one can sit and reason. This term has escalated your respect in my eyes even more.

With that, I formally convey gratitude for all the friends of ePakistan who helped us in this recent endeavour. Highlight of them, as usual, are our brave bretherns from Thailand. Romanians, too, have proved to be an honourable ally. A lot of private MUs, like Tesla Troopers, who have always bled for us, have my special gratitude. Most of all, the Iranian government who efficiently worked with us in keeping things organized. I apologise for not being able to cover all the loyal friends who helped us as I did not follow the war closely because of RL. Frankly, my appraisal doesn't make a difference to them since the national of ePakistan sees and endorses contribution of these honorable allies.

I conclude my article with apologies to TheCaliph for not being able to work in his government as actively as I would've liked to. But as it turned out, he pulled the spectacle off on his own.

It was a pleasure 🙂
